Everything. The room was clean and everything you needed. View was amazing. Staff were lovely. Had lunch and evening meal and it was exceptional (I recommend the fish and chips). Breakfast was best I have ever come across when staying away. They made my dog welcome even gave her a sausage for breakfast. I will definitely recommend staying there and I will be returning in the future.

Daryl was very welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay extra enjoyable: great variable breakfast, offering tea and cookies when we decided to spend the evening on the patio, explaining the different dinner options in detail, the personal communication. When we left, she offered us some travel advice that allowed us to appreciate the surroundings more than expected beforehand. Our room and the ɓ&b in general were stylishly decorated (and spotless).

The Old Post Office is in a great location in Lanchester with various places to eat close by. The facilities are excellent with great attention to detail including bathrobes, fresh milk and homemade biscuits. The room was spotlessly clean and Keith a very welcoming host. Breakfast was ordered the night before at a time of our choice which meant everything was freshly cooked. Great local ingredients and the most delicious bacon!

The apartment was immaculate and we couldn’t fault a thing; very well maintained with everything you need for a quality stay and brand new. Rachel our host couldn’t have been more helpful, what a lovely lady who went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The bakery has delicious food and beverages and is an added bonus to the stay.     Very beautiful in the heart of the Northumbrian countryside. Not for partygoers Great for families and their dogs (hard floors on the downstairs living area.) Boot room for dogs to sleep in and dry off. Spacious enough to set up a crate. Great walks that are off road.

    Accommodation at the Manor House Inn is superb with very friendly staff, the landlord and landlady make you feel very welcome and have local knowledge of the area. There are plenty of walks to do around the village of Edmundbyers and the Derwent reservoir so you will be super fit by the end - there are other amenities on these walks to cater for everyone. Car is essential as public transport to and from the Manor House Inn is very limited however, once in Shotley Bridge you can easily get transport to Consett Co Durham where you will be able to get transport by bus to anywhere in the area. Beamish working museum in Stanley Co Durham is a must to see

    The hotel was run by polite and friendly staff. The evening meal was well cooked and the dining room well set out. Our room was wonderfully clean and inviting. The view was awe inspiring. We loved the black cows. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay. We were sad to leave.
