Silecroft is a nice little place and also has a golf course, lovely beach with long walks but beach cafe now closed so nowhere to have a cuppa after your walk. There are no seats or shops so you will need to take your own seats and eats. The pub in Silecroft is only open part time and had no chef, We had to dine at the Old Kings Head in Broughton which is very nice and reasonable prices but around 20 minutes driveGuest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Silecroft village itself is very small, there's nothing to do there - just a few houses and one pub. We had an excellent pub meal at the Miners Arms, nothing fancy just good size portions of pub grub. Go through the village and the road takes you straight to Silecroft beach where there is a free car park and a small cafe (looks rather run down). There are miles of empty beach for walking. Murthwaite Green Riding Centre do lovely beach rides, the owner is very friendly and there are mounts to suit all levels. We had a fantastic meal at the Blacksmith's Arms at Broughton Mills, about a 15 minute drive from our accommodation.Guest review byHowardUnited Kingdom
