Simply the best quality of any kind of services - any common sense request was fulfilled within a few minutes. Room was cozy, warm, clean. Breakfast - but also lunch and dinner - made of excellent and fresh local ingredients. Beautiful view of the lake and town from the restaurant.

The location was brilliant, our view was amazing. Sadly the hotel bar had shut for the season but plenty more in the town for food & drinks. Breakfast was one of the best we had on our Scottish road trip. Dogs welcome too

Located on the hillside with a great views of the valley and hills around. Very large terrace with 2 sets of chairs. Great walks nearby to spot the deers. Conveniently located for trips round the island. Ideal cottage for couples only.

The tiny roads were stressful all over the north Scotland. Rent a smaller vehicle not a big SUV, preferably a European brand. They gave me a ford. Use the pull over spots every chance you get to allow others to pass.

We were there for a few days and took out a day to stop and...

We were there for a few days and took out a day to stop and rest because we'd been travelling a while, it was raining and the place where we stayed was really comfortable. Skeabost is a short drive to Portree, which can get very busy, but Skeabost is really quiet so nicely tucked away, yet within easy reach of key attractions.

The Skeabost Inn was our favorite for food.

The Skeabost Inn was our favorite for food. As with all of Skye, be sure to book ahead for meals. For our first night, we could not book a meal anywhere, even takeaway. We had to eat what little food we had brought with us. There are not enough restaurants to accommodate all the tourists.

GORGEOUS and spacious! Perfectly stocked kitchen. Close to Portree, the Trotternish Loop, Dunvegan Castle, etc., but still secluded and relaxing. Movies and board games there for families to enjoy. Can hear the sheep in the distance. Just perfect!

Lovely bungalow, built by the host.

Lovely bungalow, built by the host. Rural location with lovely views down to the loch. Local wildlife, isolation. The room was very clean and tidy, breakfast was very nice - cereal, fruit, yoghurt and toast. Great hosts, Hamish and Josephine made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The town of Portree was 15 mins away by car. Nice eateries in the area and the Isle of Skye is stunning. Would thoroughly recommend this property.
