Skipton exceeded our expectations.
Skipton exceeded our expectations. We were only there for the weekend for a celebration of a wedding. We got a day to explore. So much on offer! Canal boat trips, walks, castle local market on in the High Street. Lots of winding alleys to sweet independent shops and bakeries. More bars and pubs and cafes than I've seen anywhere! Beautiful Town Hall with a fantastic little museum that was great for kids too, with lots of interesting hands on experiences. I highly recomend a visit. Great 'Makers Market' going on too in the hall. A super base to see the Dale's and surrounding area.Guest review byTownsend - 10.0

We were shown to our rooms and offered help to take our luggage up the stairs. The bedrooms we chose had en suite facilities, they were clean, comfortable and contained everything we needed.
