We went to Spalding to experience the Flower Parade.
We went to Spalding to experience the Flower Parade. We had a nice spot outside our hotel, and enjoyed the Parade afterwards we walked to the Chain Bridge Forge. The river walk was non-inspiring and there was a lot of black rubbish sacks around awaiting collection and litter along the roads. Didn’t go into the town, but Springfields is a great venue… the outlet shops, cafes, garden centre.. and mainly the beautiful gardens, full of tulips at this time of the year. It is immaculately clean and well maintained. The breakfast was exceptional and served in a beautiful dining room. There is a lovely pub 5 minutes walk away called the Moorings which serves great beers and food in a very cosy atmosphere.
