Nice clean warm room, super comfy double bed. I took one of the cheap rooms that didn't have ensuite, but did have a sink in the room as used to be common. The toilet was just down the corridor and washing facilities across the corridor, fine for me. They do have rooms with ensuites I believe. Decor is old fashioned, but tidy and clean. Who cares if the wallpaper isn't fashionable and up-to-date? Staff were very friendly, check-in was available from midday which was very helpful, and the food was absolutely excellent. The best burger and fries I've ever eaten for lunch, a superb venison steak for dinner, and the perfect full English for breakfast, the breakfast included in the price (which I hadn't expected). Next time I'm back in Burnham I'll definitely be staying here.

The room was wonderful, like in old movies, the location was marvellous, the staff is extremely nice. The best full English breakfast I've ever ate. Good thing that the hotel have a private carpark. The price was very good. A real authentically English hotel, with crackling step stairs, old fireplaces, Victorian style sash windows, thick drapes, narrow corridors, stylish wallpapers. It was amazing.

The room had everything we needed & we were very comfortable. We were also able to book use of the gym & spa facilities. Check in was made very easy. There is a great cafe next to the accommodation where we had an excellent breakfast, staff very friendly, great surroundings.

    Filthy caravan.

    Filthy caravan. No water available from the taps in the toilet. No heating and absolutely freezing at night. Had to wash all the crockery and cutlery before we used it. Carpets full of dog fur and crumbs. Oven covered in crusty grease. Possibly blood on the wall near the toilet and something over the cistern. Park full of drunks and unruly dogs. Mine got attacked by another whilst on her lead. Stayed for 1 night only as couldn’t cope with staying longer.
