Stockbridge is a lovely little town with a selection of independent shops and restaurants/cafes/pubs. It is made all the more characterful by the River Test running right by the main street. Stockbridge is a cosy, colourful and quaint town in Hampshire with the river Test running through it. People who are lucky enough to live here are clearly happy as they all seem cheery and show kindness to visitors. There are lots of little shops and good cafe's. The town of STOCKBRIDGE is a few miles away but pleasant wlk about with a few shops and restaurants. we ate at a lovely restaurant just outside of STOCKBRIDGE i think it was called the Mayfly right on the riverbank nice place to eat. a Fullers establishment. Great for fishing, walking and visiting interesting venues, including nearby cities such as Winchester.
