Small but very comfy room with everything you need, even a small fridge. It was within walking distance to the town centre and the beach. Beata was very friendly and even made an earlier check in possible. Thank you very much for that! Room had personal details about her work as jewellery designer which I find very nice. I might look into her Etsy shop! We stayed for only one night but if we ever come back to Stonehaven we will definitely book here again. :)

Everything was beautifully done and Michelle and her family were lovely. The rooms were spacious, cosy and very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was all freshly prepared and probably the best breakfast we have had during our vacation. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Only in Stonehaven for one night but managed to see Christmas stalls and attractive Christmas tree Saturday night, and enjoyed attractive walk 🚶‍♂️to the harbour area on Sunday morning. Both occasions were enjoyable, even in the cold air but the sea view on our walk was great.

It is winter time as we visited and a bit cold but we loved Stonehaven. the Ship Inn on the harbour is a good place to eat and drink and Carrons fish and chips are excellent and Stonehaven is easy to get around as it is flat so good for people who are a bit infirm or disabled. In the summer which we plan to visit next year it would be better as you could do more activities as you can walk all along the bay and then there's a boardwalk round to the harbour and at the other end of the bay near the beach is a fantastic ice cream shop

Lots to see and do in Stonehaven and if you like walking, photography and the sea this is a great place to visit. Also lots of historical places to visit. The Old Harbour is just beautiful in all weather. Interesting Tolbooth Museum with very friendly and helpful volunteers, great old pubs and amazing food and beers.

Stonehaven is the cutest little town.

Stonehaven is the cutest little town. The best thing about it is the outdoor swimming pool. There are not many of these around and it's just a dream. The water is heated to something like 35C in the summer. The water is fed from the sea and it is right at the beach. I would go to Stonehaven for that alone. The harbour is gorgeous and in the summer it's a hive of activity from sailing to paddle boarding. There's even saunas for the cold water swimmers. Also Dunnotar castle is in Stonehaven. It's an incredible place and not to be missed. Lastly, the fish and chips is just the best in Stonehaven. It's a lovely stop off for a weekend in Scotland.

Stonehaven is a quaint little town by the sea.

Stonehaven is a quaint little town by the sea. Dunnottar Castle is the superstar here! There are plenty of options for dining and some lively pubs. Much of the town is walkable so it’s easy to get around. We only stayed for two nights but could have stayed longer. A short drive took us into a much larger town of Aberdeen. We explored Old Aberdeen with its university and history. Highly recommend Stonehaven.

Stonehaven is a lovely little town with lots of pubs and cafe in which the staff are friendly and welcoming. There is lots to do for both adults and children. The walk along the front is fantastic and guaranteed to clear the head. A visit to Dunnottar Castle is also a must!

We chose to stay in the area of Stonehaven mainly to visit the Dunnottar Castle, which was amazing, but we experienced much more than that during our stay here. Shorehead Guesthouse is beautiful and in a fantastic location, right on the little harbour. Our host, Paul is friendly and offered suggestions for dining and adventures in the area. The breakfast was great, we helped ourselves to an array of quality food and beverages and Paul was on hand for anything we required. The view from the dining/living room was stunning.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The staff are great and super friendly, having a private parking area was a huge plus, and it was walking distance to the beach, harbour, and train station, so it was very convenient. We picked an ensuite family room and it was so comfortable and great to return to after a day of outdoor activities. It was the best sleep I’ve had in a while! The cooked breakfast the next day was also really lovely.

Immaculate, beautiful home about 10 minutes’ drive from Stonehaven in a quiet rural area with no traffic. Easy parking, lovely friendly host Miyong who met us on arrival. We had the twin room which was very quiet and nicely decorated. The continental breakfast was much more than we expected - see photos - and there were only 2 of us staying. Comfortable beds, large white towels, nothing negative to say.
