The house is lovely, lots of space for lots of people and the walled garden with the hot tub was definitely a highlight! The kitchen was well kitted out to cater for larger groups. The owner was very accommodating. It is a very beautiful house and was nice and clean. We had a wonderful time there celebrating!

The superking size bed was fabulous and having a small window in the eye sight from the bed that looked out onto fields gave such a relaxing vibe. The apartment was spacious and well thought through! If I was ever to back to Tadcaster.....I'd stay here. Not just because it's the only place on booking.com but it's a super trailer. All I needed was a big dog, pickup and crushed cans of budweisser and I'd be in a road movie. The inside is like the tardis in size rather than modernity. The trailer kept us snug as bug whilst Storm Darren or something raged on outside. The pub is great, friendly staff and locals and good beer. Slept like a log.

We chose this hotel last minute. It was a complete surprise. Whilst tired in places, this is a castle built in 1066 and the history and passion of the staff make this such a charming hotel. Hidden doors, and rooms you get lost in make it a great stay. Also Jeremy on reception gave us a guided tour 😀
