The scenery is stunning!
The scenery is stunning! Shame about the closeness of the road to our bedroom window! A cooked breakfast would be an improvement! The room was tiny! I did have another 3 days booked for the end of September but cancelled after our stay! Gateway to both the Northern and Southern lakes.
Gateway to both the Northern and Southern lakes. A lot of good restaurants in the general area, but book early if in a large group . Hoards of people so visit important places early e.g. Castlerigg stone circle is MUCH better if you're the only group there. You can feel its 4500 years age.
