The cottage itself is absolutely stunning. A quaint two bed cottage that has been maintained and furnished to a beautiful standard. Attention to detail fantastic and everything you could need to make this a temporary home from home is available. The location is stunning, right opposite the pretty village green, 40 second walk from the lovely Pub and gives easy access to roads, footpaths and walkways to the stunning Dales.

We very much enjoyed the homey atmosphere of the Lister Arms. The food was delicious, the included breakfast quite filling-perfect for a full day of hiking. We felt very spoiled by the king sized bed, and it was very appreciated for a restful night. We loved the hikes around Malham and not having to worry about driving or parking, so the location was excellent. The pub had 4 choices of non-alcoholic beer: for those who don't drink, that's a great and rare offering!

Beautiful and charming little spot! Cannot fault it - the pub is stunning and the rooms are separate, located just behind the pub. Room was spacious and well decorated and had all the amenities you could need. Nespresso machine and plenty of biscuits were a lovely touch!

We loved our amazing drive from Kendal, up through the Yorkshire Dale's. To then arrive at The Blue Bell Inn in Kettlewell was so special. It's a truly beautiful place. The Inn is so gorgeous. Its warm and open fireplace was just what we needed. Geoff greeted us as soon as we walked through the front door. He showed us to our warm, comfortable, and clean room. He served us drinks and dinner, and said a friendly goodnight when we got sleepy and went to bed. We had some fun conversations with him. The shower was lovely, as was our bed, such a good night sleep. In the morning, we were greeted by Gail, another lovely person who served us a fantastic breakfast, had another great conversation, and all too soon we were saying our goodbyes, and were leaving this picturesque village up high in the hills. It's just wonderful all-around. We would very much love to come back and spend longer.

It is amazing place to stay! The area is unreal, very beautiful. We had everything we need in thehouse, comfortable and stylish. Personal is very friendly, especially Dan who was waiting for our arrival at night and met very kindly.

Mint pub with ample beer selection, brilliant food ( Chicken pie was 10/10) the service from the lad behind bar who showed me to room and around was superb a real credit to the place and a proper warm welcome! Breakfast again was epic and the lady who has worked there for 20 plus years was brilliant and very attentive! Loved every minute!

    Great place to stay for couples. Fantastic views of the Dales and perfect location for walks. Easy to walk into Grassington for pubs and food. The owners are extremely helpful and hospitable. Fabulous breakfast.

    The scenery was stunning as is the surrounding areas.

    The scenery was stunning as is the surrounding areas. Grassington is five minutes drive and is a lovely little village. We happened to be there when they were filming ‘all creatures great and small’. Tge locals are friendly and helpful.

    Good location for lovely plentiful walks especially anyone...

    Good location for lovely plentiful walks especially anyone interested in bird/ mammal watching of which there are numerous species e g curlew, oystercatcher, willow warbler etc.Also close by are wildflower meadows. Only 20 minutes by bus to Skipton (which also has a railway station, good shopping great castle and walks plus e v charging point at Morrisons )which run reasonably frequently from Grassington so getting around is good for a country location even without a car. They do filming of all creatures great and small at Grassington at certain times as this is one of its main locations. Great cafe for breakfast was the corner cafe , great plentiful food, good coffee and service reasonably priced although the decor is not Ritz standard !! Great for a young family holiday but probably not so good for toddlers.
