Friendly, personal welcome and the fact that my lodge had been prepared in advance of my later arrival with the heater on and outside light on so I could find my way. Perfect location for my work at Bewl Water. Lovely lodge with a layout that managed to feel both cosy and roomy. Clean, warm, comfortable, great shower. Just perfect!

My very nicely decorated room, with large soft bed (though stacked with too many pillows and cushions), and a small but good bathroom with bathtub, was something I looked forward to at the end of the day. Awesome gem near (walking distance) Bateman's house. Very peaceful quiet area, great breakfast, beautiful cozy room with comfortable bed and last but not least Linda such a lovely and welcoming host with very kind dog Maise and cat. Parking on premisses.

A wonderful pub and the best place to stay in the area. Utterly charming staff. The lady that runs the place gave my daughter a horse shoe for good luck (for her interviews at a school nearby). Really lovely place.

    Ticehurst is like visiting another world.

    Ticehurst is like visiting another world. It is a quirky and relaxing with interesting art shops and the most amazing cafe called 'The Greedy Goat'. The owner is just lovely and the food was the best and great value. Definitely recommend visiting Ticehurst. The residents are so friendly.

    The hotel room was very dated basin in bathroom was blocked and leaking decor was very poor marks all over walls was worse than budget room town was great good restaurants the man in pro shop was great very helpful dale hill golf course was in great condition it was a shame room was poor great part the the world very pretty

    Ticehurst has a wonderful pub called The Bell which serves delicious food. The village is near to many attractions such as Pashley Manor, Bedgebury Pinetum, Scotney Castle, All Saints church at Tudeley with Marc Chagall windows, Sissingshurst etc etc The countryside round about is beautiful as it lies within the Weald.

    The location of the Barn was ideal for us as we were...

    The location of the Barn was ideal for us as we were visiting Sarah Raven’s Perch Hill Garden which is nearby. We also visited Bateman’s and Sissinghurst and re connected with old friends from university for some of our outings. A wonderful base for our little tour with free parking and a ten minute stroll to a lovely village pub which served excellent food. Will definitely return to explore more super gardens and historic houses and castles.

    Pretty little village, great location for visiting Bewl Water, Sissinghurst, Pashley Manor, Bateman’s, Merriments, Bedgebury Pinetum. The Bell pub in the village centre serves magnificent G&Ts! Lovely garden out the back.

    Ticehurst very pretty some nice places to eat, The Bell is lovely but book well in advance, The Cherry Tree is good for families and was really friendly. Lots of lovely places to visit nearby and suggest Scotney Castle

    The office staff were extremely accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The on-site restaurant was excellent with a varied and interesting breakfast menu, with gluten-free choices. We had small children and babies in our party and the restaurant owners were very understanding and helpful. Good forest walks and bike rides on the doorstep and a good pub, The Bell, in the nearby pretty village of Ticehurst. Would definitely recommend a stay at Flimwell Park.

    We loved how quirky it is and how the rooms are named; the houses outside, and the different designs to match the name. The breakfast was amazing and we had dinner in the evening; a la carte, which we thought was very good value. The staff were all extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Ticehurst is a lovely quaint village and the locals are also very friendly. We would highly recommend staying here

    The photos don’t do justice to just how lovely this little cottage is, it was much bigger than expected with a really well equipped kitchen, very clean, lovely setting and a short walk into Ticehurst village. The owners even left us a fresh loaf of bread, eggs, bacon, milk and cupcakes which was a lovely touch! We would recommend and would definitely stay again

    An amazing, peaceful experience. The accommodation even had a lovely aroma. The setting is beautiful and despite feeling away from it all, it is easy to stroll into Ticehurst. The hosts were very welcoming and provided all that was needed for a badly needed cup of tea after a long journey.

    Very nice hotel, very clean , very quiet room and very strong shower and very hot Diner at the Orangery , simple menu , but Curry was very nice and enough for a diner. Staff very nice. Big breakfast , you can ask for anything . they got it. Very large parking space.
