Absolutely lush! I cannot recommend this place enough. Beautiful surroundings, so much wildlife to see and hear. Lovely and clean, hosts were very friendly and helpful. This is an absolutely perfect place to relax and unwind away from the busy hustle bustle of life. ❤️ We will definitely be back!

A beautiful bijou place to stay. The host was amazing very accommodating. Fresh eggs, milk, tea and coffee at the property for us. They even popped in to put the heaters on, when it snowed whist we were out ! Our two Yorkies loved it too. Five star property *****

The cottage is beautifully furnished and the host, Georgie, was very friendly and helpful. We arrived to a lovely welcome basket of goodies and we wanted for nothing during our stay. The beds are super comfortable.

Tasteful interior of rooms, very comfortable beds, everything looks like new, very clean, best breakfast we got in Great Britain served by very friendly chef, helpful staff, childfriendly, very convenient with restaurant downstairs. We had dinner twice bc we loved the food, delicious pasta, pizza and burgers. Actually the best stay we had in the UK. I can really recommend this beautiful place.

    The castle is interesting and the playing fields, pedestrian walks by the river and the woodland with it's lakes are all close to the centre and are very pleasant. They have free Friday night music performances by the river in the summer and they are very popular and well done.

    It was a business trip so not much time for sight seeing, but on the basis of myu two short trips into the town centre it seemed (historically) very interesting and there were plenty of place to eat, drink and shop.

    I've been to Tonbridge a few times over the years.

    I've been to Tonbridge a few times over the years. It is a lovely little town with great amenities and is very close to some really beautiful green spaces and castles. Hever Castle is a must visit around 15 minutes away as well as Hayden Country park.

    Tonbridge area is well placed for visiting many attractions of Kent. We were staying in self catering outside Tonbridge town and only briefly went into town to be honest so can't tell you much about that. Had a walk round castle grounds. It did have supermarkets so we were able to stock up.

    Tonbridge has been a market town since the Middle Ages with its own Castle by the River Medway. All services in the High Street. Lots of parking, free after 6pm. Ightham Mote, Knowle house, Scotney Castle, Bodiam Castle, & Rudyard Kipling's Bateman's were all delightful National Trust properties nearby. We had a super meal at Havet, a Turkish Restaurant which provided me, unasked, with a doggy bag when I could only manage half my meal.

    Excellent little place.

    Excellent little place. Very busy during the day but not overly busy. There was plenty of places to eat and shops plus you never had to wait long for a bus as long as you knew where you wanted to go. The only negative was the taxis at the train station the drivers were most unpleasant but there is another taxi service there and the drivers were brilliant took you to your door and made sure you got in ok although sometimes you had to wait a bit id rather wait and use a good service like that.

    Outside - the property was attractively laid out with large areas for sitting, eating and relaxing, front and rear. There were heaters, blankets and comfortable seating, flowers and there was ample parking. Inside - very large, with several large, well furnished eating rooms, and also areas for sitting and perching. A large bar. Well decorated with many paintings and interesting furnishings. Quiet location in the country but near a small supermarket. Easy access to Tonbridge and Sevenoaks.

    We had a lovely eight days here. Loved everything about the place which was homely and welcoming. The cottage had everything we needed and we loved sitting on on the patio in the mornings and evenings. The bottle of wine in the fridge when we arrived was a nice gesture. A good base for exploring the beautiful county of Kent. Highly recommend this property and hope we'll go back to stay there again one day. Thank you.

    Great location Easy access..Flat needs bit of TLC .Towels didn't look clean . Stains on couch .Kitchen lots of appliances. Do not stay here if mobility issues. One of older houses in Tonbridge so come straight out of bedroom onto steep stairs . With a bit of TLC this could be ideal but not for non agile people
