This hotel is in a quiet location, has a large car park with large spaces, Very helpful staff, lovely room, clean, large comfortable bed, we used the restaurant which has a good menu, the food was excellent. We needed breakfast earlier than the hotel offered. Lovely area and I think the hotel is lovely too just needs a few adjustments. I am sure there Was no malice meant but we really did feel unwelcome. In particular the person who greeted us and was there at checkout was not very friendly and barely looked up from his computer screen. Included a lovely breakfast and for this reason we came back for lunch with parents before we headed back down south to Berkshire. Enjoyed lunch even more so. It was a lovely dining experience because we had read previous reviews, and standard of food was really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel and dining experience.
