The house was warm, cosy, well-decorated. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed and there were so many nice touches i.e. binoculars and well placed chairs to observe the view, a TV, dining table, a welcome message... I went for my 26th birthday and Nick put in a good effort to make it special for me!

Perfect location, best of both worlds being in between the city and coast with the station literally round the corner. The property was gorgeous, exactly as the photos. Everything you could need and more. Spotless and secure. Felt very homely and would certainly stay there again. Thanks Peter.

We have stayed in many hotels and have worked in the hospitality industry ourselves for several years, so what a pleasure it was to spend two nights in an establishment where everything was simply perfect. From the moment we arrived at check-in, we felt right at home. The Front of House Manager (I won’t mention his name for fear of misspelling it, but he will recognise himself 😊) as well as the concierge are truly great assets to the Halyard. The room was perfect: clean, quiet (despite the many pubs nearby), and the bedding was incredibly cosy. We also appreciated having the amenities replaced every day. Breakfast with live cooking was excellent — a real English breakfast! The service was relaxed, friendly, and very professional. Reception answered all our requests with remarkable efficiency. Congratulations to the whole team. We will be back for sure! Liverpool is truly underrated — a beautiful city to discover on foot, with wonderfully warm people… and of course, its pubs! --

It has a great location, with a lot of shops and close to restaurants! And so the main attractions walking distance!! The rooms are big and bed is super nice. Decoration is stylish. Staff at the reception was so nice and helpful for the check in and check out very smooth. The hotel offers a complementary coffee, tea & croissants in the mornings which is great detail. Is a hotel pet friendly our kitty cat loved it and so us.

Everything was absolutely amazing. I went for the Comic Con, and I had the view exactly towards the building itself. It was very satisfying. The room was clean , the bed comofrtable, and I did love the streaming option for the TV. The internet was great! I had an iron in the room, which is super comfortable. The breakfast was awesome! I loved evey minute of my stay there. November will go again! I'm pretty sure Dale Cooper would love that coffee! And the fact that i received a whole pot of coffee in the mornings.

This is a really interesting and quirky area that reminded...

This is a really interesting and quirky area that reminded us of parts of London, with lots of great independent traders nestling along mainstream nationals such as Greggs. There are plenty of places to eat, with a good range of choices. We didn't get to the original 30s style cinema but what an amazing landmark it is. There are also some amazing churches and fabulous houses to nosy at as you walk around.

Waterloo is a really interesting place.

Waterloo is a really interesting place. There’s the brilliant Anthony Gormleys Another Place on Crosby beach. Lots of interesting independent shops and bars and the great independent cinema. Public transport links are good too. It felt a really safe place to stay.

An area out of the city centre of Liverpool but still well...

An area out of the city centre of Liverpool but still well equipped with plenty of places to eat out. Nice beaches and an area running in lower gear than the city centre. However the use of the frequent Mersey rail services make Liverpool attractions or those of Southport just a quick ride away at a reasonable price.

SCAMMER!! NEVER GOT IN THE PROPERTY AS THE OWNER IGNORED ALL OF OUR CALLS AND NEVER LEFT THE PIN FOR THE KEY! We had to book another hotel at our own cost & we are now trying to get a refund with booking.com, the workers on the premises say the owner is known for this recently and hasn’t paid rent in months, disgusting

The accommodation is very close to the Metro station and the main street of Waterloo district. Plus, the "beach" is also very close to the house. The house itself is renovated, that is very welcome.

Nice flat. 5 minutes from Waterloo railway station which is 20 minute’s from the city centre with frequent service. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance as are two supermarkets.
