A perfectly presented accomodation for those looking for difference in the country. Private,peaceful, historical and charming - like stepping into a different time. The room was beautifully presented and authentic with a bath tub, roof window and gorgeous accessories. The restaurant down the narrow, winding staircase served outstanding meals and drinks, and the hosts were very welcoming. I would love to return to this beautiful place.

Old diary is a perfect place to stay, visit cities as Folkestone, Rye, Hastings or Canterbury. I really reccomend this place. Nice flat to share 4 people with horses in the countryside. Very comfortable.

So much thought and care has been put into thinking about what a guest might like or need. It is obvious that Andrew takes pride in providing a welcoming, calm & relaxing atmosphere. The place was immaculate, beautiful furnished & well designed. Also, lovely welcoming touch of a (delicious) chocolate bar on the bed.

A lovely house, very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. It's very well equipped especially in the kitchen and bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable. Loved the patio doors to the garden.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The owner lives upstairs and she was so helpful, she even offered to help me bring my bags from the car. She had made sure I had everything I needed including towels, tea, coffee allsorts of herbals teas and shampoo, conditioner even a new toothbrush and flannel. She had left me a lovely platter of fruit and biscuits and mini bottles of wine when I arrived and when I opened the fridge there was a lovely feast of crackers, meats and cheese. I didn't need to bring anything with me. She was super friendly and the parent was lovely and cosy and clean Thankyou for having me xx

    Terrible breakfast, we only been given a bag with yoghurt...

    Terrible breakfast, we only been given a bag with yoghurt and some stain cereal, two danish pastries, an apple and a bag of crisps. Apparently if you stay Sunday to Monday this is what you get for breakfast, still paying the same price. Very enjoying….. Also there was a bloody green light on the ceiling in our room Niddy, suppose a kind of night light which made the room completely green during the night and I had real issues to sleep. Best you bring an eye mask !!!!! We knew there is only a bathtub with a shower attachment, but seriously you can’t have shower. If you are older you will struggle to get in or out of the bath.

    Loved this stay.

    Loved this stay. What a brilliant trip, place is closely located to a few of the vineyards and some good country walks. Pub itself was good fun, fantastic food. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. Room was great too. Would 100% go back.
