Room was very spacious , they kindly arranged for us to have the adjoining room for the family , perfect! Bathroom all good and clean , nice decor, in all very happy. We ate dinner and breakfast in the Inn , everyones meal was very good and breakfast was more that ample portions.. the host and staff all very accommodating , helpful and polite- in making ones stay comfortable indeed. In all a wonderful overnight experience and stay at the George Inn, thoroughly recommend it .

Staff were exceptional, friendly service by all and showed us to the room happily helping us with luggage. Room itself was spacious, clean and inviting. Bathroom was fitted with a bath, perfect for relaxing after a good walk. Food was deeeelicious!!! 10/10 would stay again !!

    Wedmore is a Medieval village and the George is a wonderful place to stay. Wake up to the sound of the church bells in the 600 year old Coach House. You may even meet the ghost Geoffrey. The local convenience store make the most wonderful sandwiches for your picnic lunch.

    The accommodation is very comfortable and homely and is ideally located for visiting the attractions of the wider area (Cheddar Gorge, Wells Cathedral and market, Wookey Hole caves, Stourhead House and gardens, are all within easy reach). There's a lovely well-stocked garden to wander around with plenty of outdoor seating ... there's also the added bonus of off-road parking. And breakfast is definitely not to be missed ... top notch! We were made to feel very welcome at Huberts and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Thanks, Jane, for a great stay!

    The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.

    The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room was large and cosy and the bathroom was lovely. We had breakfast and dinner which was absolutely delicious, I really couldn’t fault the place. Lovely spot to visit other areas too, like Wells, Taunton and other places. I would definitely stay here again.

    The pub near our b and b was closed on a Friday night after...

    The pub near our b and b was closed on a Friday night after walking there we had to get back in the car and drive into Wedmore. Lucky the pub there fitted us in for dinner. The village store was open until 8pm but nothing to buy for dinner.

    Great place to be for visiting Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury . Had a lovely meal at Lion Head Cafe. Lovely shops. Parking at Cheddar Gorge good....whereas at Glastonbury you have to park far from where the Tor begins

    Beautiful area the village is small but has all the facilities that are needed a car is needed from accommodation to village as there are not really any paths and road is narrow and busy at times with lorries there are lower speed limits but need to be aware and careful if walking. Accommodation fantastic again with all facilities and amenities very comfortable and very clean children would love it here safe garden for little ones and then a playground at top of hill with beautiful scenic outlook the owners were very accommodating helpful and friendly we would thoroughly recommend this cottage for couples or families….wonderful 4day stay😊

    The property is one of two lovely little cottages, tucked away behind the main house. It was clean and relatively well-equipped. The wifi is excellent and the shower is great. The countryside around the area is beautiful and Wedmore is a very nice little town.
