It was what I expected.
It was what I expected. It was very rural, but wonderful for a city dweller to sample country life, from shooting parties to exceptional night skies, sunsets & sunrises, to pheasants and partridges running around everywhere. There were options to drive to nearby market towns on country roads to enjoy surrounding areas, or simply walk the trails to take in the views in the clean country air. Host Jen and Rob were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The setting is beautiful, right on the river, you can hear the water rushing past. Breakfast is fabulous as is the restaurant, really good food and staff member Holly was delightful.
