Wilmslow is a perfect place to visit Quarry Bank Mill and Alderley Edge. Alderely Edge has great views of the Cheshire Plain and folklore around the wizard, Merlin. both are within walking distance of Wilmslow. On arrival I had twin room booked , stated on app that we would arrive following day between 00:00 to 1:00. Hotel gave our room away and offered a double bed to us. This was not appropriate as and left me furious. Have since contacted hotel with no response. They made no effort on the night to sort situation. I paid for a twin room and expected to receive it on arrival. Instead I ended up sleeping on floor and believe I should be compensated for such a poor experience. I would expect the hotel make some effort to at least reimburse half the fair of the room as a result. To say I’m furious is an understatementGuest review byBrianIreland - 10.0

The location is ok to travel to Manchester airport.
The location is ok to travel to Manchester airport. WiFi and use of the pool were both extra charges. We would not stay again if were traveling to the UK and Manchester airport. The hotel is dated and needs a clean up around the rooms and outside was dirty looking. Some of the carpark was closed off so the taxis were having to turn around and squeeze back out the way they came in with the other the traffic..?🙄 The location of the bar right next to the reception area wasn't the best, for eating and drinking while the doors kept opening and closing..Guest review byMarkAustralia

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The public areas are nice and attractively decorated. Our standard room was very pleasant, a decent size and we appreciated the outlook over the greener spaces. The room had everything we needed including tea,coffee, biscuits, hairdryer, fan and mini safe. It was clean and comfortable. I was a little dissapointed with the bedroom this time, the bed needs to be replaced it was very un comfortable and noisy when you turned over.
