Surrounds were so peaceful. I loved the area for the dogs especially the dog paddock. I seemed to be the only person around. The caravan was lovely, everything I needed and so much more. It was clean, tidy and had many extras, wine, biscuits, tea coffee etc. it was lovely and warm and the patio was a bonus. Will definitely return

We couldn’t stay for breakfast we had to leave very early. Our room was delightful. A huge comfortable bed, big fluffy bath towels, lots of coffee, tea bag options and biscuits. Dog treats waiting. We sense a generous spirit about the place. Parking is off road within an area next to the ground floor rooms and easily accessible. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Breakfast comprises a wide variety of choice depending on your appetite. Also had a couple of meals with family there, again there was no shortage of choice. The room was excellent with views of The Square. The bar had a pleasent friendly atmosphere. The hotel staff were all exemplar from reception through to the cleaning and bar / restaraunt. A very well run hotel.

    Lovely town with historic Minster (church) in the centre.

    Lovely town with historic Minster (church) in the centre. Lots of interesting history. Good range of shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants. Plenty of things to do: the Tivoli theatre has films, musicians, plays, etc all year round. There are parks and a river in the town. Very flat and easy to walk around. Pubs with regular music nights! Irish and folk music.

    Staff are lovely and very welcoming.

    Staff are lovely and very welcoming. Great Italian restaurants nearby, we had dinner at one of them and the chicken in cream and mushroom sauce was divine. We only had breakfast in the hotel a couple of times as we were room only. Visit the minster and visit the library up the winding stairs if open. History there is incredible.

    Wimborne Minster is a very picturesque town, with lots of cafe's, restaurant and shops, both high street names and independents, to explore. Sitting in the square, drinking a coffee and people watching, is a lovely way to pass an hour or so.

    The town has a lovely selection of shops and cafes, something for everyone! There is a small museum, a beautiful church and a model of the town (the latter being great for children)! You can really chill out and relax in Wimborne Minster!

    Immaculately clean, king sized room on the first floor. Very spacious room with lots of storage space and comfy chairs. Excellent shower facilities and plenty of storage again. Hearty, full English breakfast with good quality ingredients. Annie was a charming host. Central but quiet location with safe off road parking for two motorcycles. Easy walking distance to Tivoli Theatre, many restaurants, bars and real ale bars, Wimborne Minster and the 88 green bus which takes you straight to Kingston Lacy.

    It was a lovely room at an old inn decorated in a nautical, Georgian theme. The bed was super comfortable. Wimborne, the little market town is super quaint with lots of great restaurants including one related to 1777. 1777 is not a large hotel with lounges etc, but a small place, so some folks may found it restrictive. Personally, I thought it was great.
