Glenda & Lee are so welcoming and friendly. They are great hosts The room had everything we needed and more. Glenda has thought of everything in advance. Room was clean comfortable and homely. Such attention to detail. The breakfast was beyond first class , home cured bacon, fresh eggs, home made bread & jams. Thank you both for making our stay memorable, shame it was too short. Lovely couple of days away. Tina and Chris are extremely hospitable. The llama feeding was fun and informative. The welcome groceries were plentiful. We made use of the hot tub, but there's also a BBQ with coals, and a firepit which we didn't use, but everything was there if we'd wanted it. There is a little summer house also, and all these items are for your sole use. Booking.com has this listed as breakfast, but this is the items provided for breakfast, it is not prepared for you, which suited us. We will be back.

    The Town centre is full of drunks on benches at all hours of the day. There are reports of high crime compared to other towns in Cambridgeshire. It has a number of things to see such as the Wisbech and Fenland Museum, Peckover House, Elgood's Brewery and Gardens(open every Thursday) and Octavia Hill's birthplace, who was one of the founders of the National Trust.

    Wisbech is very run down and generally unpleasant in my opinion. I went there for an event which was good, but if you have no prior reason to visit, I would recommend giving it a miss. I’ve added no photos cos I took none. The castle and church are fine buildings, as are some of the run down buildings. On Saturday lunchtime there was a group of Eastern European men drinking beer and openly urinating in the churchyard, it didn’t get much better in the town area.

    We enjoyed the museum and there is beautiful planting around the church. BUT open drug dealing on the street, no police evident by cars parked everywhere, on the pavements, all along double yellow lines. We were advised by hotel receptionist not to go out at night and the car park and hotel are locked and secured at 9pm. Very run down a lots of empty shops and litter.

    I like the new developed houses

    I like the new developed houses Loads of parking places and not paid for parking at all Environmental friendly no pollution It is not easy to get around Wisbech as taxis are pre booked in advance. Our journey did not allow us to book in advance. Will like to see public transport available regularly like every 10 to 15 minutes

    I didn't stay in Wisbech too long as I was travelling...

    I didn't stay in Wisbech too long as I was travelling through. But what I did see was a a town centre with lots of boarded up shops and on the outskirts a new out of town development with supermarkets, cinema, Costa Coffee, B & Q etc which is killing the town centre. This is a problem affecting most city centres in the UK

    All photo looks so great, that we decide to visit.

    All photo looks so great, that we decide to visit. We found free car parking next to church. Then we went to see area. When we went through little park next to church, we start worried. We pass group of young people drinking beer, then teenagers around 13-14 years smoking weed, then older people already drunk. And another group of drunk people. We run back to car as we start be scary of safety, and it wasn't pleasure to enjoy any view. I think town council really need to look into that as could be nice tourist spot.

    The location only the rest is nasty I would recommend staying well clear of this hotel myself and my partner got very sick with our sinuses when we returned home unable to air or vent room the toilets look like they have mould in them the windows had something on them two almost fell down the stairs everything going down them could do with a few new updates that would improve the whole experience of staying we also looked out the window to see loads of rubbish outside cluttered.

    Hotel is lovely, with super looking bar & restaurant (tho sadly we didn't have time to use, as out locally for dinner with friends). Rooms are a decent size, with good furniture, comfortable double beds (ours was a standard double, not a king), ample pillows, great shower & shower room.Our dog was made to feel welcome, with a dog bowl, sleeping pad and chew! Huge car park, with dog bin & poop bag dispenser.

    Loved the layout of the property .the communal lounge and kitchen perfect for a family get together . The property was ideally placed for trips to the coast and sandringham . Kings Lynn was also well worth a visit .the bedrooms were stylish and the shower rooms easy to operate . Facilities in Wisbech were also convenient and I can recommend Sunday lunch at the nearby garden centre which was excellent .

    Stunning accommodation, very high spec and spotlessly clean. Close to Wisbech and only 20 minutes drive to King's Lynn. The hot tub was a great bonus.
