This is more a rural area with towns and villages nearby.
This is more a rural area with towns and villages nearby. Very close to the Norfolk border with the market town of Diss only a few miles away. Stowmarket and Ipswitch are also not that far. There are castles and the coast not that far either. The White Horse Pub on the A140 is highly recommended. The food was fantastic and very friendly staff too. Great place to visit and use as a base to travel out from for a weekend in Suffolk or Norfolk. You do need a car though to get around.Guest review byteddybearmanUnited Kingdom

Nothing was too much trouble. And that included wonderful service and attention for our two dogs. The food we ate was delicious with a lot of the ingredients grown on the premises. They are running a beautiful establishment with courtesy, respect and care; good old-fashioned service at reasonable prices. The food was high-class cuisine and amazing. This was definitely a highlight of our stay, as we ate in the restaurant for two of our three nights stay. The breakfast was superb, too, with local produce being used where possible. The bedroom was a good size with the bed being very comfortable.
