This is the best guesthouse you can stay in this village. The owner is a great person and he sincerely treated us as his dearest guests. He is a direct descendant of a family that had lived in this house for 900 years. The house itself has a part which was deliberately left untouched so you can see with your own eyes how Svan people lived 900-300 years ago. I cannot stress enough how awesome this place is and how hospitable the owners are! Staying there was one of the best experiences we had not only during the Mestia to Ushguli track but during our entire trip around Georgia.

We trekked from Mestia to this guesthouse and were so thrilled to be greeted by Irina herself, so kind and welcoming! The rooms, including the shared bathroom (2 were available to share by all the guests), were clean and the windows opened up to beautiful views of the mountains. We had dinner after our arrival and then breakfast in the morning; both meals full of delicious home cooked items. Her husband helped us by driving to the next destination because my knees couldn't handle another long hiking day and we were so grateful to have stayed at this lovely home.

We enjoyed our stay at Maia's guesthouse a lot. Maia and her family are great hosts. The room was clean and with nice views. We also liked the big garden where you can chill out. It's the perfect place to relax after many hours of hiking! Food was great and the atmosphere really nice.

Amazing! I loved everything! The hotel is recent and located 5 minutes walking distance from the city center. The environment is peaceful. The view from the balcony is fantastic! The bedroom is quite big, as well as the bathroom. The hotel also has a comfy living room and another outside terrace with hammocks and yoga mats if you would like to relax after your daily hiking. Tamara and Ralf are super hosts! I enjoyed your daily discussions with Tamara. She was always helpful and gave me many tips! The breakfast was incredible! I highly recommend this place, and I am looking forward to coming back next year! Thanks a lot Tamara and Ralf for your warm hospitality and your kindness!

This is a lovely, comfortable place to stay. Clean, well appointed rooms with tea and coffee. Beautiful lounge space downstairs off the lobby with a bar to relax and a great terrace to chill out on with views over Mestia. Easy walking distance to the centre of the village. Everything was better than we expected! The staff was amazing, they really wanted us to enjoy and feel comfortable! They helped us to find information about the area and what is the best to do and even welcoming us in our language. The room was big, beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The hotel has a big parking area. There is a beautiful view from the window. There is very good food at the hotel's restaurant. Breakfast is impressive and tasty.
