Fantastic location with impressive views. Walkable distance to Vardzia cave monastery. Host made sure we have everything and called a minivan driver to pick us up near the hotel road when we were leaving

it was our first glamping experience. the conditions are very good, over our expectations. the air condition, the refrigerator, the hot water and the wifi, all were working really well. so you don’t fell you are in a tent. the images on booking are real. the owners give their best in making you feel as comfortable as possible. they have a restaurant in vardzia (vardzia restaurant) which offers really good value for money and the food tastes very good. but they bring you breakfast to the tent even if it’s 3 kilometers from their restaurant. i really recommend them!

Hotel Hobbiton is an absolutely charming little hotel, creatively designed and full of character. Built into the earth, it has a unique and enchanting appeal that makes you feel like you've stepped into a different world. My only regret is that we stayed for just one night—I could have spent much longer relaxing in the lovely courtyard. The location is incredibly peaceful, perfect for a quiet retreat. Our room was clean, air-conditioned, and cozy. The owner went above and beyond, preparing us a delicious dinner and breakfast that made our stay even more special. If you're looking for a magical, tranquil escape, Hotel Hobbiton is an absolute gem.

The owner of the place was very friendly, took care of us, and sat with us to talk even tho we had a bit language barier. Everything he served us for dinner was home made, starting from wine till his own bread flour and cheese. Very friendly people, more than fair prices and great location from Vardzia. Fast comunication and when we had a problem to find a place we have find owner randomly waiting for us on main road to help us and welcome us. Very exceptional experience with locals.
