I loved the location half way between Tbilisi and Signagi. The Chateu is beutiful and perfevtly maintain. A home atmosphere , not like the big comercial places around Telavi. Mark the host and his parants were very welcoming. We had dinner, made by Marks mom and breakfest freshly made. The full georgian expiriance.

Very king woman - owner, who is taking care about guesthouse. She and her son have this guest house. Guesthouse is very clean, I had very big room and got that money value is more then enough. She treated me with tea and some sweat staff, later I ordered lunch and OMG, for me alone she did such a full table of Georgian good. Everything was so tasty and natural, from her garden and farm: eggs. We had work event in nearly winery and in winery was booked all room, so for 1 night we was looking a place the to stay. Around winery wasn’t any guesthouse, so we toked this. Review was 7.5, so we afraid a little bit, but it’s really better - it schools be 9 at least. We will come back again if would be some with situation and need to stay somewhere.

I recently stayed at the hotel with my colleague and had a wonderful experience. The host was very friendly and polite, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel was spotless. Its location was perfect, being close to the center and several supermarkets, pharmacies, etc., making it very convenient for any needs. The view from my window was stunning, offering a beautiful panorama of the surroundings. To top it all off, the breakfast was excellent. We were in Telavi for a field trip and needed to leave the hotel early in the morning, and they agreed to serve breakfast at a time convenient for us. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice, family run hotel in the centre of Telavi. The staff went out of their way to welcome us and help with arrangements for our trip. The room was comfortable and clean. We would definitely return.

At the Communal Hotel in Telavi, the courtesy of the staff mirrors the elegance of the architecture and the delight of their food. The mix is memorable. The location is perfect: a short walk from the main monuments, but shielded from traffic. Walking in the street of the Communal immerses you in a different age. And the pool in the inner courtyard is a welcome surprise on a hot summer day. The rich, colourful breakfast in the silent, bright morning light is the best we can remember. The hotel is beautiful and cozy. It has plenty of shared space such as beautiful terrace and big hall downstairs. it’s a little bit far from the city and everything but it’s peaceful and quiet. Room is clean and comfortable, there is everything you need. the staff is always on touch, friendly and trying to help, towels in the room are changed daily and they also treated with local homemade wine as a complement.

After the hustle and bustle of Tbilisi, we toured Kakheti. Just outside Telavi we stumbled upon Chateau White Flags, an oasis of tranquility with a beautiful view of the Caucasus. The welcome was warm. The hostess conjures up delicious dishes on the table. The wine, made by the host, was exceptionally tasty. With an eye for tradition, but with an open mind for the melting pot of cultures that come together here. After a delicious dinner, we immediately booked an extra night. Enjoyed an extra day of reading by the pool and an additional culinary evening. Breakfast was excellent too. Highly recommended in an excellent location!
