I had an amazing stay in this beautiful, peaceful environment, a small village surrounded by mountains. It’s a truly lovely remote place to relax and enjoy. Food was exceptional and both the owner have been incredibly kind and welcoming, surely a place where to feel home. I would definitely suggest to anyone going to Etseri to have a stop for the night in Pari not just because of the trek, which might get a little tricky on the way Etseri and that i wouldn't recommend to do the after the sunrise, but also because this guest house, with its welcoming hosts and delicious and plentiful food and wine, is definitely worth the stop. I would also really suggest to try their wine, outstandingly good.

The best hotel crew you could dream of! We stayed at Lamala for three nights and had the very best hotel experience during our Georgia trip. The location at the bottom of the valley at the foot of the mountain is absolutely outstanding. At Lamala you will meet the warmest, kindest and most helpful host and staff you could ever dream of. Every room has it’s own balcony and is nice and clean. The hotel has the cutest dogs who will follow you on your hike, if you like some company. If you like a challenge, try and ask them to play backgammon.

The rooms are cozy, exceptionally clean and offer a great view of the mountain. The Hotel is around 750m from the start of the TCT leading up to Utviri pass - a great choice for Hiker. The owner is very helpful and welcomed us a second time, after we had to retreat from the mountain after a thunderstorm. Though it was still morning we could enter the room immediately and could even wash our laundry in their washing machine. She also helped us to organize a transfer to our next destination. And last but not least: The food (breakfast, lunch, dinner if needed) was also great. Clear recommendation!
