Hello there, Thank you so much for having me in your wonderful hotel. I have enjoyed every single minute of my stay at Ocean Villa Heights hotel, the room was comfortable, shower fantastic, breakfast was great and food was brilliant. Many thanks to Abdullah, Bebe, Muhammad the security man, Malang, Mbassi and the energetic girls cleaning the rooms and hotel. Hibisicus House is a gem in Gambia. The gardens and pools are gorgeous. The food is amazing at the resturant- a very rare find in Gambia. The staff are friendly and attentive. The room was beautiful and cozy. All the comforts of home with an African touch. This is a lovely place to stay.

After visiting 70 countries, I can say that this hotel was one of the most charming I've ever stayed in. Really very beautiful spaces / very helpful team / incredible personality and extremely big heart of the owner. Everything here is well thought out, whatever question, situation, or preference you might have. Nice breakfast, hotel also can arrange airport pickup or dropff. Some say the location is a bit remote, but in reality, it's just around a 20-minute walk to Senegambia and even less to the Monkey Park. During my stay, I never needed to use a taxi. Some commented about strange people on the way, but I - as a solo female traveler - did not face anything of real concern (only people saying hi or trying to sell you something, but that happens everywhere around Senegambia). Also, in the area, just a few minutes away, there are a couple of small minimarkets and a restaurant with really nice food. Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I was in Brufut for 20 days this trip.

I was in Brufut for 20 days this trip. EVERY day the power went out. Make sure you book at a place with a back-up generator or you will be miserable. There will be no air, no fan, no wi-fi, no TV, no lights, and very, very hot. Make sure to see if there are excessive bugs in your unit.

It was situated close to coastal road in brufut, the neighbouring is quiet and enabled to enjoy brufut and gambia as a local an not only as a tourist The villa is confortable, secured and has all the regular amenities that are a great asset in gambia: large space, hot water, fans, 2 bathroom, fridge. Enough to feel home Mamajara and her family was very welcoming and kind. I really had a pleasant stay and appreciated their language skills with several Gambian languages and English and French

Hibiscus house was absolutely perfect for what we wanted - a tranquil oasis. A lovely Pool surrounded by trees and birds, good access to other parts of the country through use of the hotel driver and/or taxis. We wanted to be away from the main tourist part but able to access this when we wanted. It was also some of the most delicious food we had in the Gambia. We would definitely stay again.
