I have stayed in Rodos Star Hotel together with my daughters, 19 and 13. We really enjoyed our stay not just that the food was delicious and the staff polite but also because of the overall feeling in the hotel. You feel like you are at home, the guests were friendly and the vibe was positive. The beach is about 2 km so if you are not prepare to climb the heel than rent a car is a beter option. We came back very happy and with great memories from our holiday in Rodos.

First of all, Mary the lovely person in the reception Welcome you like a family. You get the feeling that they want you to enjoy your stay and will do all that really will happen. Also, the pool and the staff of the bar were friendly and professional. The option to rent motorcycle from the hotel was brilliant decision, we succeeded to see a lot because of that. I definitely will return.

Great location and the staff are absolutely wonderful . The rooms are cleaned daily and it’s close to everything near by . You won’t find a better place to stay for the price . The owners are wonderful people and are more than welcome to accommodate your needs . Definitely recommend 10/10 stay

Very good location, comfortable to get to any point of the island. The best host I've met so far. Every your wish is done instantly ) Plenty of free bikes so you could go to the nearest beach or the center of Afandou (nice restaurants and bars there). Pretty garden with barbecue zone, washing machine. Strong Wifi signal, hot water 24/7, AC in the room, nicely equipped kitchen.

    We had a truly wonderful stay at Arfna Villas. The villa is modern, very comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. The place was extremely clean and well maintained, which made us feel at home right away. The hosts were amazing, very kind and helpful. They even allowed us to check in early and check out late without any extra charge, which we really appreciated. The villa is located a bit outside of the main town and other nearby areas, so it’s best suited if you rent a car to get around easily. For us this wasn’t a problem and it added to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the villa exceeded our expectations and we would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Rhodes.

    The beach is ok. It is pretty rocky. Still nice. Not much else to do around, so I booked a few tours. The supermarket is a long walk away, especially in the heat, so if you are planning on food shopping and don't drive it's not that easy. If you drive you should be fine. The locarion is better if you rent a car. Not that many places to eat, just a few. There is a small convenience store that sells water and a few basic products. Not really fruits or vegetables etc.

    We were purposefully looking for a quieter destination to take a break from the big city we live in. I liked that even in the town of Afandou, it wasn't too crowded. Excellent bus connections to other cities, e.g. Rhodes, Lindos . .

    The walk to the beach is quite far, so I recommend renting a car right away. There are plenty of restaurants, but not too many shops—still, it was enough. Afandou is a city of mopeds; I’ve never seen so many anywhere else. The center of Rhodes is simply amazing, with countless shops and many restaurants. It felt like life continued throughout the night. The most delicious meat was in the cheapest café.

    Afantou was a good place to explore the east coast from - very accessible to Rhodes Town and Lindos and all places in-between. Everyone was friendly. We ate at tavernas in the square by the school - both excellent. We found the streets of Afantou quite muddly, but soon got used to them - and it added to the charm of the place. You definitely would benefit from having a car so that you can access the various wonderful beaches and explore great places inland. What a wonderful island!

    It was very quiet in the middle of October.

    It was very quiet in the middle of October. It's a local village, so there´s not many tourist services available. Or anything special to see. But it's located very conveniently close to Rhodes town, Faliraki and other attractions. The beach is also pretty good.

    We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property in Rhodes with our children. The house is full of soul — every detail reflects authentic style and care. It feels like a true home, not just a holiday rental. The hospitality of Marios and his farther was absolutely perfect. They were incredibly attentive, kind, and always ready to help, making us feel truly welcome. We’re leaving with warm memories and lots of gratitude. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special, family-friendly place to stay in Rhodes!

    Not much around the hotel in walking distance but hotel provides shuttle bus to afantou beach and can walk into afantou town however not much going on up there, small supermarket right next door, 20 second walk and a large hotel about 10 min walk away. Easy to use public transport buses ( cash only ) can get the bus to the water park which was great and falaraki town and beach which is great. Lots to do in falaraki - water sports, pubs, bars, market shops, restaurants, mini golf, night clubs and renting motors :)

    Everything was amazing. Al Mare is located in beautiful place with sea next to the street. Gorgeous view from balcony welcomed us every morning. Owners are really kind and helpful. Their hospitality is on very high level. They recommended us a nice taverns with delicious local food and the best places on the island. If we will go on Rhodes, for sure we will choose Al Mare Apartments.

    Christina is a very kind and friendly person she always asked if we needed something... The apartment was very clean and had all we needed (towels, kitchenware, etc). The position is very handy and very close to the center of town and to the bus stop (you can reach all the beaches of Rhodes by bus). I highly reccomend Cigi apartments!!!!
