Loved our stay! The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service from start to finish. Even providing a beautiful spread to welcome us for our honeymoon, upgraded our room, and put out a cake for my husbands birthday! The food was also incredible and location can’t be better. We had the pleasure of staying at Minos Beach Art Hotel for a relaxing weekend, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into paradise. The hotel itself is beautifully spread across a large area, offering various accommodation options. Based on the glowing reviews, we opted for a bungalow right on the water, and it was the best decision we made. The bungalow was recently renovated, featuring elegant, modern decor and all the comforts we could ask for. The veranda right by the water provided breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere – truly a dream spot to unwind and connect with nature. Walking around the hotel, we enjoyed exploring the lush flora and the impressive art installations that added a unique cultural touch to the entire experience. We also had the pleasure of dining at La Bouillabaisse Restaurant during one of their special Invited Chefs & Friends event. The food was beyond incredible – every dish was a masterpiece, and the service was impeccable. A perfect 10/10 in every way. Thank you to the wonderful team at Minos Beach Art Hotel and the General Manager for his special attention. We can't wait to return!

Hotel is literally 100m from the cristal clear and sandy beach. Staff is super helpful and great! Couple of minutes walk to the center is trought very nice street, the city is beautiful and great .. You can leave your things on the last day of your stay at the reception. Everything was just perfect!

Well this has been about the third time we have stayed at the Angelos hotel and it never fails to get 100% rating. The room was basic, but met our needs including a wonderful view of the bay. The hotel is quirky to get into but does have a lift, which you access through a shop.The owner, Eleftheria also works in the shop, next door and is marvellous.The rooms are cleaned each day and because I celebrated my 76th birthday, at the hotel I was presented with a birthday card. Sort of.But nevertheless the hotel is a oasis in a resort of much more expensive, luxury accommodations, and long may it remain so for the foreseeable future...

We loved Agios Nicolaos.

We loved Agios Nicolaos. It’s a bustling port town but still small enough around the port area to be lovely. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. We did a boat trip to Spinalonga, which was excellent. We also took a cab to visit Plaka and Elounda and another to Kritsa the following day.

Nice city, easy access to sea sports and boat cruises A small but nice commercial zone with everything you need. Some nice restaurants around the small lake : For example Migomis Piano Restaurant, very good food, and Gioma Meze, nice view on the city and lake

Pleasant and pretty town centre with lovely shops and restaurants with helpful staff everywhere. Awesome beaches, loved the Kimzu beach club and the cute cafe with amazing views next to Votsalo beach. No need to hire a car (we wasted our money) nowhere is lovelier in Crete.

An interesting town with a wide range of shops, restaurants, harbour, facilities and things to do. Unfortunately it is a victim of its own success, so gets fairly crowded at time and the traffic is busy and not helped by the narrow streets, challenging one way system and limited parking.

From Almyros beach you can walk to the end of the beach and...

From Almyros beach you can walk to the end of the beach and join a footpath which leads you straight into town. About a 20 minute walk to centre where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Fantastic restaurants and cocktail / wine bars, most doing traditional Greek cuisine. Can’t say we had a bad meal but all display menus so you can pick whatever suits your taste.

Very kind hosts, we had a hamper and the fridge had provisions. This was unexpected and made us feel very welcome. We have stayed around Crete for 19 years and never have received such warm hospitality. The room was very clean and the pool was beautiful. I would like to add that we also had car trouble and the owner Giorgos went above and beyond to help us get our car up and running again. Thank you so much for your kindness. We will be back again.

Absolutely, everything was perfect. The staff were topnotch and well trained. Room exceptionally comfortable and my favourite were the turndown service each evening with a bag of soothing tea. The location was perfect. Close to everything, yet not noisy. I fell in love with the Agios Nikolaos, the Creteans are sophisticated, and people I met were a great representation of their island. I will definitely come back

Fantastic boutique hotel at a fantastic location ! The staff is wonderful and do everything to make you feel comfortable. Great breakfast a la carte with a amazing view. They also got a nice dinner menu for 38€ with 3 courses. We had the standard room Seforis with a big private terrace and jacuzzi. Don't hesitate this the place to be in Agios Nikolaos. The centre is just 5 minutes away with the car.

The view is stunning and the property is a lot more spacious than the photographs would suggest. Lots of sunshine areas and shade too. Loved that the BBQ was cleaned after every time we used it -new never saw who, but guess it was the Pool Person ……so discrete, we never saw anyone! The Meal and drinks on arrival was very welcoming - perfect start to the holiday.
