Andi and the boys make you so welcome, it is exceptionally clean and the food at the snack bar is excellent. The location is great 5 minutes to the many bars and restaurants and 10 minutes to beach. It is evident that Andi and her team really enjoy what they do and this comes across in the excellent service. If we are in Zante again will only stay here, well done to you all.

Amazing location directly at the sea (sandy beach, crystal clear water). In the apartment you have everything you need for your stay. Cleaning lady works very thoroughly. The apartment is spacious. Swimming pool with sunbeds next to the apartment is also very nice.

- The room was great and clean - Changing towels and cleaning every 2 days - Very close to the sea, but at the same time you could not hear the sound from the street - Daniel is a wonderful person, answers very quickly, helps if you need anything - Daniel helped with airport transfer, recommended their family restaurant were was delicious food, recommended of car rental etc I recommended to everyone! 🤗

This accomodation exceeded our expectations. Not only did our suite present as promised, but the location was perfect. While it was walking distance from shops/restaurants and beaches, it had the privacy and a calmness that was very relaxing. The facilities (including pool) were very well maintained and every detail had been thought about. The hospitality displayed by Vasilis and Athina was incredible! They were both charming and very helpful in providing authentic restaurant recommendations (good food is very important aspect of holiday. The host Anastasia was also very helpful and make contact from the moment of booking to answer any questions we had. I would strongly recommend to any family and friends visiting the island in the future and would come back to this property without hesitation.

The host was very kind and we had a very warm welcome, they waited for us with fresh fruits and vegetables from their garden. The house was spacious and perfectly cleaned, offering us a pleasant and comfortable accommodation. We had the opportunity to stay there for a week while having the best conditions

    Good selection of restaurants at fair prices, Greccos for fresh fish was superb and plenty of places served authentic Greek dishes. We found that 'free wine' was best avoided although the food was good! Costa's on the beach was very good and Shoestring further down the coast is well worth a visit. The Mitsos Hotel welcomes visitors and has a large swimming pool and refreshments served to sunbeds for anyone who goes there - all you have to do is buy refreshments at reasonable prices. This seems to apply to all places with a pool and sunbeds. The hire car was a mixed blessing as the satnav had to be paired with my mobile phone and sat coverage is partial. Driving at night on unlit mountain roads with the few signposts in Greek is not relaxing.

    It a lovely place with lots of great restaurants and bars. The beaches are lovely and 2 villages are in a walkable distance so choice is vast. It has a really safe feel and so friendly be that bar owners/restaurant or holiday makers.

    This was my second visit to Alikanas and I will be back...

    This was my second visit to Alikanas and I will be back again! It is such a good location for lazy beach and pool days. Easy to hire a car or bike or go on a boat trip to explore the island. The people are really friendly and there is a relaxed vibe wherever you go. There are some fantastic restaurants that have authentic Greek dishes at a reasonable price. I highly recommend The Mill Bar for food and entertainment. Their Greek dancing night is not to be missed!!

    Small little town, good for a relaxing stay.

    Small little town, good for a relaxing stay. Not much partying or the like happening. Some good restaurants. Beer was always served ice cold which was great. Not many activities to tap into. The location needs some investment to really come to life.

    I’d suggest you get here soon, whilst it retains an element of the farming area, soon to be lost as it’s concreted over. It’s probably got all the rooms and eateries it will ever needbut when did that ever stop progress ? Fab sandy beach and shallow harbour. Enough nice walking in all directions. Perhaps there was a Obese’n Inky Festival taking place on the week I visited, way too many wide loads pavement blocking, desperately searching for another fill up !

    We liked the very small beach just below the Shoestring bar...

    We liked the very small beach just below the Shoestring bar and restaurant and when we occasionally ate out of an evening we liked the Lemon Tree Taverna just 200m from the apartment. Alikanas is easy to get around and has a couple of reasonable supermarkets and tourist shops. It has a pharmacy and a private emergency medical centre.

    Zante nest is in a great location as it’s close to the beach, local bars and restaurants. However, once inside you can still have the relaxing atmosphere away from the main strip. The food was incredible and reasonable price. The owner was super friendly and helpful, as well as making you feel welcome and valued. He was working the bar during the day and would always take the time to chat or answer any questions you may have about your stay or the local area. A hard worker who really cares about his guests. Legend.

    Very nice apartment. It has two rooms, one balcony and one terrace. Swimming pool was deep enough for jumping into, it has also safe shallow part for kids. Opened from 10am till 7pm. Very quiet and calm place. Big enough parking. Close to shops (around 100m to the nearest one), 500m to the Alikanas centre, 1000m to the beach (which is sandy and nice) Kitchen with cooking pots, kettle, cooker.

    Everything was fantastic. Andy, Dennis and Theo are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is in a great location, very quiet and secluded but 5 minutes walk from the bars and restaurants, the beach is a short 15 minute walk away. The rooms are kept very clean, the food is good and the there’s a lovely pool
