Raija at the reception was super nice. She was a very good host and helped us get comfortable in the hotel. I will highly recommend this place in zakynthos. Very close to the beach with a pool within the property as well. Lovely staff and super nice food. This was my first all i clusive experience and alykanas beach grand hotel did not dissapoint. Highly recommended!

The property is right next to a beautiful beach. The position is excellent because from there you can easily reach every point of the island (we were by scooter). But the thing we appreciated the most was the staff, they were really friendly and available, always smiling. They were able to meet every request.

The apartment is very new, 1 year old maximum I would guess. Very good position, 2 minutes by foot from a supermarket (Spar) and the main street of Alykanas, with many restaurants and shops. Very large apartment. Living room with a very minimal kitchenette, a convertible sofa and a small table. Bedroom with a queen size bed, a closet and some other ranging furniture. Bathroom with walk-in shower. Terrace with a table, two chairs, and a drying rack. Air conditioning in both rooms. Private parking always available. Daniel was a super kind host.

We had the most wonderful stay in Zakynthos! Our host Athina was truly the best we’ve ever had – so kind, thoughtful, and always making sure we had everything we needed. She really went above and beyond, which made our holiday feel so comfortable and special. The accommodation itself was fantastic, but the absolute highlight was the private pool – we loved spending time there every day. Everything about the place made us feel at home, and we honestly loved it all. We can’t thank Athina enough for her hospitality, and we’d come back here in a heartbeat!

Vila Antonia was beautiful for us and young lady Antonia was nice,pleasant,respectfull.....grate young person.It was super for a family as we are.Place was nice and tree shadow with a sea view during the morning coffe was priceless.Blue Zakinthos and Ionian sea.     Good selection of restaurants at fair prices, Greccos for fresh fish was superb and plenty of places served authentic Greek dishes. We found that 'free wine' was best avoided although the food was good! Costa's on the beach was very good and Shoestring further down the coast is well worth a visit. The Mitsos Hotel welcomes visitors and has a large swimming pool and refreshments served to sunbeds for anyone who goes there - all you have to do is buy refreshments at reasonable prices. This seems to apply to all places with a pool and sunbeds. The hire car was a mixed blessing as the satnav had to be paired with my mobile phone and sat coverage is partial. Driving at night on unlit mountain roads with the few signposts in Greek is not relaxing.

    It a lovely place with lots of great restaurants and bars. The beaches are lovely and 2 villages are in a walkable distance so choice is vast. It has a really safe feel and so friendly be that bar owners/restaurant or holiday makers.

    This was my second visit to Alikanas and I will be back...

    This was my second visit to Alikanas and I will be back again! It is such a good location for lazy beach and pool days. Easy to hire a car or bike or go on a boat trip to explore the island. The people are really friendly and there is a relaxed vibe wherever you go. There are some fantastic restaurants that have authentic Greek dishes at a reasonable price. I highly recommend The Mill Bar for food and entertainment. Their Greek dancing night is not to be missed!!

    Small little town, good for a relaxing stay.

    Small little town, good for a relaxing stay. Not much partying or the like happening. Some good restaurants. Beer was always served ice cold which was great. Not many activities to tap into. The location needs some investment to really come to life.

    I’d suggest you get here soon, whilst it

    I’d suggest you get here soon, whilst it retains an element of the farming area, soon to be lost as it’s concreted over. It’s probably got all the rooms and eateries it will ever needbut when did that ever stop progress ? Fab sandy beach and shallow harbour. Enough nice walking in all directions. Perhaps there was a Obese’n Inky Festival taking place on the week I visited, way too many wide loads pavement blocking, desperately searching for another fill up !

    We liked the very small beach just below the Shoestring bar...

    We liked the very small beach just below the Shoestring bar and restaurant and when we occasionally ate out of an evening we liked the Lemon Tree Taverna just 200m from the apartment. Alikanas is easy to get around and has a couple of reasonable supermarkets and tourist shops. It has a pharmacy and a private emergency medical centre.

    The location, the villa, the views, the hosts, everything is just WOW!!! We’ve stayed in many different hotels & villas in Zakynthos and this is without a doubt our favourite. If anyone is looking for somewhere to stay I couldn’t recommend it enough. You’re a stones throw from the beach, it’s blissfully peaceful and a lovely easy walk into the centre of Alykanas.

    Excellent location in Alykanas for both the beach and the restaurants. Comfortable beds and good air con. The cleaning lady is lovely and does an excellent job. We were in the loft apartment with two older teens and could watch the sunset on our balcony every evening. I recommend the Zakynthos breakfast in Carrisimo restaurant below

    Great location chose to the beach and main street of Alikanas with many restaurants and shops. The apartment was very basic but still good value for money, nice balcony with sea view. The air conditioning stopped working one evening but they fixed that problem very quickly after we contacted the staff:)
