Everything was excellent, the room was spacious and clean, very good breakfast(keto and vegetarian options) and the staff was really welcoming and helpful. The piece of resistance were the awesome cocktails that we could enjoy every night. The hotel is also close to a nice sandy beach (5 min). If you would like to visit Heraklion (20 min by bus) the bus station is in front of the hotel.

This hotel is a decent one, if you are staying with kids. They have a nice pool with kids pool area. The taverna attached to the hotel also has a big section for kids to play around and have fun. It is very safe. The hotel is very close to the Heraklion city center and 15-20 mins away from the airport. There is a small beach in walking distance. Rooms are pretty new and well maintained.

It’s a great hotel, good value and very friendly staff. We were just staying for one night but the breakfast was phenomenal. One of the best i had on Crete. I would suggest this hotel to families it’s close to the beach but also pretty quiet and nice to relax. The balcony was relaxing and the shower was awesome.

Everything was clean. Every day room was cleaned and we became fresh towels . Food is great and always good served. Everybody are so friendly and nice. We must to give 5 stars to positivity of Kristina, Filip( Servis) and barman Dimitius( apoligaze if I spelled the names wrong). Reception girls are verx kind, and menager is always there for guests. Difficult to judge because we came early in the season when...

Difficult to judge because we came early in the season when there was a cold wind blowing and not all the places were open. However, there didn't seem to be many places to eat [not a problem for us as there was one excellent place, though would be a problem peak season] . There were a number of apparently abandoned and ill-maintained buildings, which made the place appear less attractive.

The attention and care of staff was excellent, that helped to overlook minor imperfections. As a solo traveler I used to explore the island and enjoy the sights, people, fine smells of plants in the air, as I always do, mainly using a rented car.

Reliable and frequent bus commute to the city centre, once you realise the bus changes its number on the way back (it's no 1 to the city and becomes no 6 on the way back - beats me!), and accept that there is always a traffic jam as you approach Heraklion. Allow good half an hour each way even though it's only 7 km. It's cheaper to buy a ticket at a supermarket rather than from a driver. There are mini markets open every day till late which is brilliant for those who arrive at late hours or weekenders. Quite peaceful in November. Petousis taverna was a major bonus, great food, nice atmosphere and not too crowded on weekdays. It gets really busy on weekends. Some other nice eateries nearby too.

I would recommend Amoudara Herakliou for its beautiful sandy beaches, vibrant atmosphere, and excellent dining options. It's a great destination for those looking to relax by the sea, enjoy water sports, and explore local cuisine. Plus, its proximity to Heraklion makes it an ideal base for visiting historical sites like the Palace of Knossos and experiencing the rich culture of Crete.

Everything was perfect and included with the hotel.

Everything was perfect and included with the hotel. Sandy beach front property, large clean pool and roomy accommodations. The bus comes every 15 minutes it stops in front of the hotel which was convenient. We used it instead of our car rental to visit the city center of Heraklion, not having to worry about finding parking.

Beautiful tavernas with delicious food, reasonably priced. Beach is great for families, quite a few cafes with pools, great crepe place though I didn’t try any. Really lovely town, a bit busy on the road but as this runs to Heraklion it is extremely convenient for buses to other parts of Crete, such as Knossos. Our trip was only four days so we will visit there next time!

The hotel is located close to one of the top beaches in Crete (Amoudara), but also very close to Heraklion. The rooms are very nicely furbished and have decent cleaning services. Very good selection of food and beverages in a lovely buffet-area. Nice relaxing areas in the hotel garden and on the beach. Lovely evening entertainment. Very friendly reception staff: they were prompt with hotel facilities, but also arranged a spotless early check-out (Special Thanks to Alexandra and her team!).

The location was good. Bus station to the airport and to the Heraklion city center 1 min from the hotel. The sea and the beach in walking distance. The apartment was smaller than on the pictures, but it had a very nice balkony. The pool is in the shade. Probably good when visiting in summertime, but in October would have liked that it was in the sunlight. The staff was very friendly and made me smile. The hotel and the apartment were clean. The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel owner and the staff, is very friendly, and attentive. The hotel and the pool site is very clean, and modern, everything is comfortable, the beach with the sunbeds is very close. The main street with a lot of shops and restaurants, are very close. You can order good food, drinks or anything you want from the bar. The breakfast is amaizing delicious, and rich.

Hotel staff are lovely. Welcome drink on arrival and helped us with an early check in and late checkout. The hotel itself looks nice, breakfast is decent there's a pool which is sufficient for the size of the hotel. Location wise it's a 10 min drive to Heraklion city and there are restaurants along the hotel strip (maybe ten min walk).
