We liked the location the most. The apartment is by the road and on the other side is the sea. The nearest beach is 20m from the apartment. And the shop is 5 minutes walk. The owner of the house is always available. She lives in the same building. And we had her phone number available and told us to call in any matter. The apartment was very clean. There were fresh towels and we could exchange them for fresh ones at any time. There is access to WiFi. Mini garden with a shower and a terrace where you can eat breakfast and admire the view of the sea and the port. There is also a bike rental and a bus stop nearby from which you can go to other beaches. We rested and are very happy with the vacation. Greetings to Mrs. Elena. Dimitra is lovely, very welcoming. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and the facilities were excellent. Just a short walk to the bakery, beach, tavernas, and supermarket. Great location with a view of the beach from the balcony. Perfect for a short break or even longer. Nice to stay in Megalochori and experience a taste of a traditional Greek island.

Everything. Was clean and tidy. Rooms were spacious. Air con efficient. Fully functional kitchen. The shower was amazing, and there was plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. I enjoyed how close it was to everything from shops for groceries and restaurants to a bike/scooter rental place and the bus stop

This is a special hotel with local charm and a relaxed vibe. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the beachfront location was great when you wanted to relax on the lovely sun loungers by the sea. Loved the app where you could order drinks or food to your lounger or room and food was top class. The staff make this place extra special, there were so helpful, expecially so when we need some extra help to see a doctor too. The island itself has so much to offer and there are plenty of bars, restaurants and other beach areas within walking distance.

The worker I ecountered was very pleasant, morning presso coffee to the doorcoffee was great (2€) and she helped me while a had a heatstroke and called a doctor. I got the room for an extra night because I coul not leave. In may the place is peaceful and the view from the balcony and patios were amazing (mountais, threes, sea.

Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed...

Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed was opposite the beach. There is a promenade right on the beach for early morning walks or jogging. The port is 3 minutes walk away, so we didn't need a taxi or a car to move around. You can rent motorbikes, bicycles and you can go round the island. There is an efficient and prompt bus service which takes you to the two famous beaches of the island (Dragonera and Aponisos). Both worth a day's visit and the sea is unbelievably clear and inviting.

I really loved this side of Agistri, honestly, when we had to pack up and move to a new room in Skala,I was sad. I really enjoyed the quiet, tranquil setting of Megalochori. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Kristos on the Jaimaca boat tour, it was a fabulous experience. He also plays the Bazookie exceptionally well. It was incredible to see the shipwreck he takes you to and lunch in Methana was perfect. Can’t say enough about it. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment we had on this side of Megalochori.

We preferred this end of the strip as it is quieter but...

We preferred this end of the strip as it is quieter but still has good beaches, bars and restaurants only a few minutes stroll away. It has a couple of good supermarkets too. There is quite a bit of building work going on so maybe check with your host first.

We went out of season with few people on the island except...

We went out of season with few people on the island except the core of locals, most tourist businesses closed. We chose it as it is small and we expected it to be quiet, and only one hour from Piraeus by ferry. Nearby Aegina is much larger and another option, but you would need your own transport (hire cars available). in season i could imagine it being super busy and seeming crowded.

The island was wonderful, we met a lot of people.

The island was wonderful, we met a lot of people. I host people.. Like Mr. George who is the director of the ship there at the mills, Mr. Lefteris Kyvos, Mr. Giannis and Nikos, Nikolas who works there at the hotel if it is his Flisvos.. Also Mrs. Maria is a very hospitable and pleasant person..

I really loved my stay. Excellent value for the price, for me it's the perfect location, opposite a small beach. The room was very clean and quiet, with a view of the mountain. Easy to hike up to other beaches or take the bus and get to the ferry. Walking distance to restaurants and a supermarket. Maria, the host could not be nicer and more helpful. I would happily come back :-)

Very professional, friendly host, very quick to respond to queries via the app. The room was on the second floor with stunning sea views from the balcony. Spacious, very clean. AMAZING mattress, one of the comfiest I've ever had in a hotel room, honestly I just didn't want to get out of bed. You fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves from the sea across the street.

Excellent location, right across from a beach. Beuatiful views in the evening. Close to both of the main "centers", although the further one is a bit far during midday heat. Staying at the hotel gives a discount when renting chairs and shade at the beach. The restaurant is nice, one of the better options on the island. Owners are friendly and accommodating.
