Beautiful town with really nice shops and great range of restaurants (excellent food). Very clean, great value and the people are very polite and friendly. There are buses to nearby resorts like Lassi which has two amazing beaches - our favourite was Platis Gialos. Easy to drive if you hire a car or good bus service and tour options as well. If you like to do more than just go to the beach then Argostoli is a great option as it has a relaxed holiday feel but more options at night than smaller resorts. Also just under 15 minutes to the airport. It was the easiest check in for the return journey and good facilities for a small airport.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Super room on 3rd floor with balcony overlooking the bay. Easy parking in front of the apartment. Breakfast was off site at a sister complex some 8 minutes walk but was worth the walk. A super feast with 3 items off the menu. The greek yogurt with walnuts and thyme honey is fantastic and became a staple for the rest of our 2 weeks in Kefalonia. Shops and dining are all within easy walking from the apartment. Excellent fish only restaurant down by the walkway over the bay called Aristofanis. Sun comes up in one bedroom and goes down on the opposite balcony. Perfect . Daniela was adorable and such a warm greeting . She was the icing on the cake !
