A newly redone place in an excellent location in the town of Assos. Modern amenities throughout, nicely appointed. 3 minute walk to the beach. A great place for families with kids - it's 30 meters from the church yard, where kids from all nations play - a safe place to let them roam! Excellent restaurants around the corner. The beach is crowded in August. Take a walk up to the old fort, it's worth watching the sunset from up there! And the host is very responsive and concerned.

Perfect stay! Kefalonia is an incredibly beautiful island with the most beautiful beaches in Greece. We absolutely loved our stay at Kefalonia bay palace. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa with a private pool. So grateful! Perfect location with the most stunning sea views, clean, great buffet breakfast, and warm hospitality from the lovely hardworking staff. Overall we are so glad we chose to stay at kefalonia Bay Palace in Agia Effimia, a beautiful picturesque beachside village with lots of taverns, bars, shops etc. The best location for exploring the island! Can’t wait to come back!

A quaint little village. Be aware that the village is at the bottom of a very mountainous area. Find a place with with 50 to 100m distance to the village. Also, if driving, take plenty of water as it is not drinkable there.

Asos is a very attractive small harbour village with 3 main...

Asos is a very attractive small harbour village with 3 main restaurants and The Seaside bar. The restaurants open from 13.00 until 22.00hrs which means that the Seaside bar which also serves good food gets very busy until 13.00hrs and getting a table is tricky but not impossible. The small beach is pebbly and sunbeds/umbrellas limited and somewhat tired and basic. Swimming is excellent and paddle boards are available to hire. there are two small supermarkets and a couple of souvenir shops. Parking is free and ample a 200 metre walk uphill from the centre and the front. There is very little to do here but relax,eat,drink, read and swim.Excellent

Assos is a very beautiful village .. fabulous views of the dramatically situated harbour and castle across the isthmus .... gorgeous flowering shrubs everywhere... lovely architecture ... a delicious bakery ... two mini markets ... several good restaurants especially Nefali- Anait . We also enjoyed using the sunbeds on the beach and swimming in the sea .. May or September are the best times to go ... far too crowded in August !

Asos is a lovely little village with a much more relaxed...

Asos is a lovely little village with a much more relaxed feel to nearby Fiscardo. There are a couple of nice bars and restaurants in the harbour area. In the evening we ate at Three Wise Monkeys, which was excellent.

Lovely small village, two days stay enough.

Lovely small village, two days stay enough. Great scenic walk up to the Asos castle, we recommend it - beautiful sunset spot and views of the small village. Gorgeous colourful villas, lovely walking around the village. Food is good, but not the best we had in Kefalonia. Supermarket prices are high, make sure you shop for groceries before you arrive.

Asos was so relaxing with amazing views, people were very friendly. Cheeky Monkeys and Three Wise Monkeys both food excellent. Can Hire a boat, or a paddle board which we did. Sunbeds and umbrellas can hire for the day. Take beach Shoes as beach - pebbles and sea warm. Shoes Can buy at the supermarket opposite fantastic bakery. Walked up to the Castle which took us about 1 hour and 40 minutes but was worth the walk. Also stopped and swam at Myrtos Beach before going to Asos also pebbles.

Great apartment with an even better view of Asos and the surroundings on the island. It’s a 3 minute walk to the beach and restaurants nearby. The apartment was equipped with everything you would need, it was very very clean and well maintained. There is parking right across from the apartment and the balcony overlooks it and we were enjoying the views each evening. Great place for a short stay, you can visit beaches and surrounding towns easily. A recommendation to visit the castle in Asos and enjoy the sunset, amazing views!

Pictures do not do this beautiful hotel justice! It is an absolute oasis in the gorgeous town of Assos. The staff went above and beyond - even making us a huge breakfast in advance of our early check-out. It is beautifully decorated, with flowers everywhere and a tranquil pool with breathtaking views. The on site restaurant is expensive but worth every penny. If you ever get the chance to stay here then take it!

We had a lovely stay at Romanza. The view of Asos is exceptional. The amenities are basic but sufficient. The hosts are attentive, and they genuinely want to ensure you have a great stay. Chris generously offered to take us out on his boat to watch the sunset as we were on our honeymoon - this was a highlight of our trip and we are so grateful to Chris for his kindness and company!

Everything! What a beautiful apartment in the best spot in Asos. The view was incredible and we spent a lot of time on the balcony just taking it all in. Alexandros was attentive and ensured everything was great for us! We also loved meeting his mum.
