Restaurants, bakeries, bus service, A little less busy than central Rethymno. +4 km to Old Venetian Harbor, Old town, markets. George and mum was super friendly helpful and chatty hosts nothing was to much trouble. They were soo lovely From the moment of stepping out of taxi which George arranged for us it was the WOW factor. It was amazing opening your front door to the spotless clean pool. The villa had everything really you needed it was spotless. George recommend some taverns in astsipopoulo which we ate there 3 times it was that yummy. Would love to return and I would say from all my family who went would highly recommend the villa George is so lovely thank you xxxxGuest review byjulie

In a nice town to stroll about, it's also a great spot for exploring this region of Crete, including gorges and beaches on the south side.
