Beautiful apartment with super comfy bed and great shower. Reception staff were lovely and so helpful. The pool was nice and shaded (though this meant it never got warm!), a great quiet space in the middle of the city.

This was a great place for our one night stay in Heraklion. The facilities are all quite new, comfortable and well kept. We appreciated the bottled water and snacks and all the information about the area. We were able to easily walk to the downtown area and to the ferry. Highly recommend Magdalena Suites.

Everything is new because it’s a new building. The apartment is well equipped and the staff are friendly and responsive. We even got an email listing Things to do, recommended favourite cafes and restaurants. This small touch is so helpful when you’re a first time visitor - so you don’t have to google these things yourself!

Every single detail of the house: from the decoration to warmth, cosiness and calm to switch off from reality We had all the amenities to feel home: well equipped kitchen, washing machine and a lovely terrace with the most comfortable sunbeds to enjoy the sun out. Breakfast was delivered upon request and had pretty good quality and variety to start your day with.

Our first night in Crete, coming late in the evening. Vasilis have welcomed us with raki and home-made sweet lemon. Sitting in the courtyard in warm Cretan night was very much appreciated after the flight. Location is perfect for discovering of Knossos and surroundings of Heraclion and mountain villages around. House is nicely renovated, appartment spacious and well equipped and already mentioned courtyard with the pool has lovely and homie charm. And we had the best breakfast from all our Cretan trip.

We found a few lovely coves and were able to visit Herkalion...

We found a few lovely coves and were able to visit Herkalion and Rethymno easily from this location. Every meal we ate in our week in the regions was delicious, everyone we met was kind and helpful and all round we had a lovely break to slow down and relax. Our villa was on the side of steep hill and had the most beautiful views across the valley and over the countryside. It was a quiet and peaceful spot away from the busy resorts.
