This Hotel was an Oasis of calm and the client service beyound our expectations. We lost our flight and our overall mood was not the best, but Lena and the staff made us feel welcomed way before our stay begun. They assisted us with car rental, They gave us a free upgrade for the room ( we had a seaside view and a lovely terrace). The lunch was delicious and the pool clean and available till late night.The sea in front of the Hotel is clean, with free sun lounges. Many thanks, we’ll be back

We loved the friendlyness of Andreas, Eva, their brothers and the whole family. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the food in their greek tavern next to the appartement. It was our honeymoon and we could not imagine a better place. Thank you soo much, we will come back!

We’ve been here for 7 days now and are very sad that we’re leaving tomorrow morning! The location is perfect (only 15min walk to town), the ‘Highway’ is 2 min away, there is 1 big super market next door and the area is suuuuper quiet. You only hear crickets at night and verrrry softly the live music from town which you only hear a little bit from the balcony if you listen closely. The staff, Chara in general is very friendly and helpful and warm. The breakfast possibilities are endless. They also have a Google maps full of food and beach and leisure activities so you don’t even have to think twice about what you can do in the area. The rooms are clean, spacious, romantic, modern and beautiful! Also the cleaning staff doesn’t come till after 12 so even if you want to sleep in, you don’t even have to put the ‘do not disturb sign’ on. Overall a 10 out of 10. Make sure you have a car so you can explore the island, but coming here feels like a home away from home! Will deffff come back here again when we ever choose Crete again! Thanks for the amazing hospitality !!!!

Excellent hotel in a good location. The staff were wonderful and helped us with onward bookings when Booking.com showed places were unavailable. Fantastic breakfast included in tariff. Very clean with a supermarket across the street Room was very spacious and bathroom was bigger than most. Excellent shower. Plakios was a great town to spend a few days.

From the photos, its apparent that you can expect a clean and comfortable accomodation. But this place is just so much more! Mainly to the friendly and easygoing personnel, thats always there to help you and make your stay memorable. They would provide you with the best tips of how to spend your time in Plakias to your highest satisfaction at the given time of the year and will help you with any issues that you might encounter. Their highlight is definitely the breakfasts, which are worth the early start (served up to 10 oclock). Go for it - you will be blown away! Moreover, we travelled the West and South of Creta and Plakias is just the perfect spot to be. Less tourist, many beautiful spots within the one-day-trip-by-car range, and a very clear sea. The bay is lovely, and the rainbow rock above the hotel brings it close to a kitsch :-) Great base for climbers, as the wall has many great pathes ranging from 5b to 8a. I would simply recommend this place to all my friends.

    The villa is well placed and suitable for up to 4 people. The local cafes and tavernas provide great food and drink at reasonable prices. The beach is lovely and less crowded than the naturist beach which looked very busy. We used Damnoni water sports for paddleboarding and kayak and they were excellent

    Modern and clean house, very good quality beds, the friendly and helpful host mr. Andreas. The very quiet and perfect location with on walking distance the sandy beach. Near the beach three tavernas with traditional Greek food. Nearby is Plakias; there are some supermarkets, two pharmacies and more taverns and restaurants.

    Beautiful idyllic place close to Preveli and also to the more lively Plakias where you can find more supermarkets and services. The Mythos Taverna has an excellent menu and there are wonderful tavernas on the beach too. The walks around Damnoni are fabulous and there are water sports available on the beach

    A lovely hotel, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Our balcony faced the greenery, the perfect spot for a slow breakfast. The beds were comfortable, and everything was cosy and clean. We really loved the place! The staff was amazing — so friendly and welcoming. The house itself isn’t new, but it’s well renovated and spotless. It gives you those warm, nostalgic vibes, almost like visiting your grandma in the summer. We had fantastic time there.

    Nicely done, large house. All you need is there. Comfortable beds and shower. Close to a nice beach (Damnoni) and Plakias. We can highly recommend having lunch at Taverna Dionyssos and take a trip to Rethimnon.
