Just as we expected from the photos, a beautifully decorated old stone house with pretty outside area, very comfortable big bed, and good kitchen and a welcome natural cooling breeze through the windows. Thoughtful supplies of fruit, home made jam and local wine awaited us.

Such a great little apartment . Full of charm and host left a bottle of wine and fruit /supplies in fridge which was lovely! Was super clean with all the amenities you need. A great town to relax out of the hustle and bustle and gorgeous sunset from the sunset restaurant on the hill. Highly recommend you stay here !!

This is an amazing small village with still a lot to do.

This is an amazing small village with still a lot to do. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping possibilities, and the best for most people is a street full of wine-tasting shops. You can buy there the best wine, olive oil, and other local products. The people are really heartwarming and friendly. The location is also really good. With a car, you can go in every direction at almost the same time because you're in the center of the Island. And the most spectacular is the view over the mountains and the sea

Embonas is a very friendly village with a well-deserved...

Embonas is a very friendly village with a well-deserved reputation for gastronomy. We ate out several times in different tabernas and always had a wonderful experience. The locals were extremely kind and welcoming. Although it is not directly on the sea it is not to far to go to get to a beach and it has the added bonus that everywhere on the island is less than 70 minutes drive away - it is a perfect base for exploring the island.

Rhodes (not just Embonas) is a fantastic place to visit.

Rhodes (not just Embonas) is a fantastic place to visit. There is plenty of history and some magnificent sights, provided you expect to travel around the island. It could be seen in detail in 10 days - our 14 days was just slightly too long.

embonas is world class. we have stayed there twice.

embonas is world class. we have stayed there twice. Rustic House must be in the top Appartments on the Island. Jennys wine bar the Creperi are all superb. The villagers are very friendly and the wines top class. the owner of Rustic house and the hotel is absolutely brilliant. I can highly recomend it see u nextyear

A small village centrally located at the foot of Mount Attavyros. There is a supermarket and several shops selling regional products. The most charming little shop was Maria's House. Several tavernas offer Greek cuisine and delicious local wine.

The village isn't very large, but the center is lively.

The village isn't very large, but the center is lively. The shopkeepers, or even just the locals, are very welcoming if you take the time to greet them... that's not something you find in every country.
