I cannot recommend Sifnos‘s house highly enough! George and Dora made our family feel so at home, comfortable, so welcome and really enhanced our stay in Sifnos. We stayed in the Galaxea apartment, which was superb. Two well designed bedrooms with excellent Aircon, one en suite, and an extra bathroom, and a lovely sitting area inside as well as a shaded table and sun spot outside. George helped us plan our itinerary, booked us sun loungers and had even organised to treat us to a delicious octopus starter as a surprise when we arrived at the beach! The rooms were serviced every day, beds made towels refreshed if we needed them. There is a delicious breakfast that is included and our apartment had a small but well equipped kitchenette, with stove and fridge, had we wanted to make our own food. We absolutely adored our stay at Sifnos house. When we left, George and Dora even gifted us with a ceramic platter as a parting gift, we were so touched. Do yourself favor and book yourself in. We’re going back!

Nos = BLISS! It was our first vacation in four years and we decided to splurge. NOS is so tranquil, so quietly gorgeous, and so relaxing that we made up for lost time. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable and kind (shout out to Maria and to the amazing, hard-working and generous wait staff) and the food is SOOOO good. Breakfast buffet every morning along with delicious home-cooked egg dishes, great coffee, and wonderful views no matter where you sit. At least one dinner at the restaurant is a must-do. We loved the ceviche, Greek salad, and the lemony chicken. And it is impossible to have a bad glass of wine there. From the resort we took many walks and hikes into the wild and beautiful countryside. Sifnos is best enjoyed with hiking boots and a good appetite. Beware, though. Greece has gotten expensive. Save up your euros, because it's worth it.

Amazing price to quality ratio, room was in perfect condition, location was the best you can get in the island of Sifnos (right below is the central bus station and the central commercial street of the capital town), cleaning was on another level (everyday), personnel was the sweetest ever.. literally you cannot get a better room with that price anywhere

First of all, we are very happy to have met Maria and her sweet nephew. The location of the facility, the garden, and the houses were all better than we expected. Even though we only stayed for three nights, our room was cleaned every day and our coffee was replenished. We were very pleased with our stay here in Sifnos and would recommend it to everyone. Everything - this place was unbelievable. It’s easily the most special place I’ve ever stayed in all my years of travel. Those sweeping ocean views are unbeatable. The villa was gorgeous. So considered, comfortable, and chic. Maria and her team were brilliant. I got such a warm welcome. And the location is perfect. My favourite beach on the island. Absolute bliss. Was so sad to leave. Hot tip: book Gregos villa.

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road.

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road. It has three beaches within a few monists walk and if you sent off and walk around the big headland, you get another within say half an hour. There is a bar, mini market, a couple fo tavernas ( one better than the other by far) and a posh-isn fish restaurant. There is a bus service but we had a car which was a boon. The island is small so you can get to see other places in very easy timescales. There is huge influx of both Greek and (largely) French tourists in July and August which the locals were both dreading and of course, needing. Best avoid those months if you can.
