**HIGHLY RECOMMEND! – Honest Review** We stayed in Santorini for 5 days and 4 nights, and we were hosted at KLOSTRA the entire time. The place is amazing. The room was spotless, with new furniture and modern decor, yet it still had that charming Greek vibe. The bedding was freshly washed when we arrived — no odors or anything that would make us hesitate to sleep there. The breakfast was *really good* — very complete, with fruits, breads, cheeses, Greek yogurt, and each day the main egg dish was different. The hotel staff were incredibly kind... We felt welcomed the whole time. They helped us organize tours and transfers to the airport, which was super helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this hotel. The hotel is about 1.5 km from Oia (which I consider the main area of the island). Getting to Oia is relatively easy, but the heat makes it a bit of a challenge. If that’s not an issue for you, this hotel is perfect.

We loved our stay at Vivid Caves! The location is great, on a quiet little neighbourhood close from restaurants and a mini market and yet walking distance from Oia. The place is just like the pictures. Check in was smooth and the instructions were clear.

Absolutely everything! From the minute we arrived, both Dior and Hina were amazing. They helped us find the best restaurants and also helped us with touring (at a better price than offered to us). The breakfast box was just the perfect touch! Kept in contact with everything we needed for our stay and honestly made it more special for us. We stayed in the honeymoon maisonette suite, and the room was gorgeous. Hammam steam room, perfect jacuzzi on the balcony and an even better view of sunrise than we thought. It was truly the best night we've had.

Finikia is a beautiful village on the outskirts of Oia.

Finikia is a beautiful village on the outskirts of Oia. This means that Oia is easily walkable, and also you can make for a quick getaway from Oia when the many cruise ships come in, and back to the serenity of the village. For a person of average health / mobility a 20 minute gentle stroll. There are 3 good restaurants in the village - all worth trying. My favourite which I visited a few times was Krinaki. They make the most amazing fava, and the staff are great. There's a little supermarket at the entrance to the village (just after the car park) where you can pick up all you'll need. Again, the staff are really friendly and helpful.

This is such a great location so close to Oia and Finikia is a hidden gem on your doorstep, with great restaurants and views The accommodation is of a high standard and the hot tub a real treat. Breakfast was fresh everyday from local bakery and high standard. Good hosts and attention to detail, would recommend to anyone to stay. For the price, quality and location

The place is definitely worth visiting keeping in mind that the two main areas Fira & Oya are on the hilltop. You need to be in good health. If you are not into climbing steep stairs then Kamari beach area is Fantastic for food and walk along the sea a Pramonade.

Foinikia is mainly pedestrianised, there are lots of steps...

Foinikia is mainly pedestrianised, there are lots of steps and uneven paths making it challenging for those with mobility issues. The fact that the village is a 10 minute walk from the main route to Oia makes it a great place to stay. It’s a 50 minute walk to the sunset fort location, but the sunset is visible from pretty much everywhere in the area. The shops are well stocked. The restaurants are fairly priced. Meze Meze is a beautiful restaurant with great views and well worth the steps up to it. The public parking areas are busy but we always managed to find a spot. Travel around the island takes longer than you would expect as the roads are narrow and there are some terrifyingly steep hills to negotiate. Many hire ATVs but I was glad we had a car, the air con was our saviour in the heat and a safe place to store luggage on the final day.

Very close to Oia. Recommended for those who have a car. Amazing service from the receptionist through the staff at the bar and the cleanliness. The only thing is that you can't go into the pool in the evening, even though it's a small hotel, by the way, it's not suitable for children.

Domaine Sigalas winery is less than a 10-minute stroll away. We enjoyed our wine tasting there, overlooking the vineyards. You can walk up a path from near the house to the centre of Finikia (with narrow walkways through white houses, some cave houses and no cars) where you will find good restaurants with views. Our favourite "Krinaki" was recommended by our hosts. Not the best photo but it gives you the feel. Thankyou to Yiannis for looking after us there.
