Family of 4 - couple with one child and one dog(medium/large). The location was wonderful! We had a great time and we would definitely stay longer if we could! It was quiet (as we liked and planned) and we had the whole beach to ourselves, except for the one excellent neighbour to the house next to us (whenever he was there). Absolutely ideal for stargazing or sitting by the sea at night (but not for the faint of heart, there is no one else there or around - and we liked it that way but not everyone does). It takes 5-10 minutes to walk down the hill to the house but even this walk, with its breathtaking view, makes it well worth it! It is though a solid walk, to and from the house, up and down, with stone/ground steps and everything, so maybe not for people who cannot handle such terrains, physically or mentally. The house (an old - but well taken care of and properly renovated - fisherman's house) was exactly what we saw online and expected. Equipped with everything we might need (kitchenware, cleaning supplies, coffee machine/capsules etc. even head flashlights for our walking up and down the hill) and our hosts provided us with bottled water beforehand (already at the house) and whenever we needed afterwards (the water in Syros is not drinkable but ok for cooking). Thank you to our hosts and will definitely be coming back!

We felt at home from the first moment. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bathroom appliance felt like really good quality. The kettle for my morning tea worked perfectly. We are a bit sad we came here only for the last night as the stay at Chrysonisos Suites was way better than where we stayed before. Especially we appreciated that we could drop/store the luggage already in the morning and come back later for checkin. Also you could see the sunset from the edge of our balcony or by walking 20m in the garden in front. It was fanastic!

Syros Holidays is a beautiful place in the area of Vari. The location is great and the hotel room had a great view to the sea. Everyone was so welcoming since the beginning of our early check in. Bus stop is so close and also the near beach is just 1 minute from the hotel. If you have a car, there are plenty of place to leave the car.

The hosts' hospitality was exceptional! We arrived early and they were welcoming to us, getting us into our room and settled right away. We were even allowed to leave our bags there after check out as our ferry would not be leaving Syros for a few hours. Our room was impeccable: clean and spacious, with lots of closet space. It was a great location and easily accessible from the ferry port.

From the very first moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and cared for – almost as if we were visiting family rather than staying at a hotel. Sophia, our host, is truly one of the warmest, kindest, and most attentive people we have ever met. Her genuine kindness and outstanding hospitality made our stay unforgettable – she anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Breakfast was a real highlight every morning: so much variety, freshly baked goods, plenty of options for everyone, and even lactose-free and gluten-free products specially prepared for my wife. On the day of our excursion, Sophia thoughtfully arranged breakfast boxes for us to take with us, which made us feel so cared for. The hotel restaurant deserves a special mention as well. The food was simply wonderful – traditional Greek cuisine and also seafood, rich flavors, and authentic recipes. We tried food all over the island, but always found ourselves happily returning to the hotel’s restaurant, because it truly stood out for both quality and taste. Our room was spotless every day – quite impressive given how much sand you naturally bring in from the beach. Speaking of the beach, right in front of the hotel we always had comfortable sunbeds waiting for us, which made our days by the sea even more relaxing. What makes this place truly unique is the family-run atmosphere. You can feel the love, warmth, and pride in every detail. Everyone treats you as if you are part of their family, and this genuine connection is something you simply cannot find in larger, commercial hotels. When it was time to leave, it honestly felt like saying goodbye to family members rather than just checking out of a hotel. We left with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and a desire to return. The hotel is extremely beautiful, and I got 2 rooms that had a balcony above the sea... It was a top experience. No noise but thw waves. Sunrise. Complete breakfast. Excelent outside spaces. Located 200m from the restaurants, in front of the pier. Definitely a great choice!!!!
