One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. In terms of service and excellence. The staff were outstanding going above and beyond to make our stay so special. We loved the complementary ferry transfer to and from the hotel which made our travel a lot less stressful. Breakfast was amazing serving all kinds of delicious food. The rooms were so clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were even greeted with a complimentary drink and snacks when we arrived. The views from the restaurant were amazing offering a beautiful sunset over Naxos. I could not recommend hotel Grotta enough and we hope to be back again soon . ❤️

The staff, small/boutique hotel, views and breakfast were all fantastic. The owners and staff couldn't have been more welcoming. They really went above and beyond to make us happy and comfortable, and even let us enjoy a room with a jacuzzi for the day because it happened to be free, while keeping our room which had lovely views. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and this is one of those places that in my opinion is great value.

The hotel is superb, it’s brand new with amazing staff. The owners are polite and very professional. The beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island, fine sand and crystal clear waters. The pool is amazing! The breakfast includes fresh fruit and a great variety of home made sweets and pies as well as local products. Other Restaurants are near by at walking distance! Overall the stay was amazing and we highly recommend it!

It is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the island vibes and marvelous beaches of Naxos. Very beautiful hotel with great ammenities, beautiful swimming pool and excellent breakfast. A special thanks goes to Ageliki, who always received us with a heartwarming smile (PS. our little Miranda is missing you!), and Stephanos who gave us precious tipps to explore the island. The property and rooms are beautiful but what makes this property so special is Nick and the family team that run the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were great with a lovely touch of complimentary home baking. Pool area also wonderful.

    A quaint little town, with friendly locals and a beautifully maintained town. Restaurant Platia was a delicious place to eat, and good value. They had a delicious local wine to try and the hospitality was exceptional. We returned 3 times to eat there. A nice gem away from the main city of Naxos. We used electric bikes to get around. I lost the key but it only cost €25 to replace the key. So don't panic if it happens to you! (We rented them from Naxos not Galini)

    Galini and Eggares are the two nearest villages to Palatiana...

    Galini and Eggares are the two nearest villages to Palatiana. Both have taverna's and basic shopping facilities. The Stella Taverna in Eggares is particularly good. The surrounding countryside is wonderful and Amitis Beach which has The Blue Ocean Beach Bar is also a great combination. We were here in mid June '22 so the season had not quite taken off yet. Very tempted to go back!
