I really couldn't recommend Dora's Kakovatos Guest Rooms more. We stayed for 9 days as a family of 4. The owner, Dora was such a lovely, kind, thoughtful and attentive owner. Although she didn't speak English and we didn't speak Greek, she regularly checked in on our family, gave us fresh fruit from her trees and even baked us a family recipe cake! Her son, (who spoke fluent English) was helping with the rental and was great, really helpful and accommodating. We were given tips about the local area and felt we could ask them for anything. Ideal location, with 10 minute walk the a beautiful, relaxing beach with crystal clear waters, a quaint, small and friendly village, 3 minutes walk and a safe, family friendly feeling neighbourhood. The room itself was great, compact, but perfect for what we needed - kitchenette was great for cooking, air con, which saved us in the heat, very clean and two terraces (front and back). Surrounded by beautiful, well kept garden, with fruit trees and lovely flowers. We will definitely be returning!

Great location just over the sand dune with wonderfull beaches and lovely sea. Also close to the village with minimarket and restauarants - few minutes by foot. Very nice host who was taking care of us. Place worth to stay in.

Wonderful location, clean comfortable rooms, kind friendly hosts. Great shower and room had a fridge which was really useful. We also borrowed cutlery and a plate to eat our dinner. Lake Kaiafas is beautiful so many birds and the pond turtles and terrapins are amazing. Lovely beaches a short drive away and an ancient acropolis to explore with stunning views. Thank you

It was a pleasure for us to stay with Mina and her husband. Very caring and kind people, they responded to our every wish. The apartment was convenient, comfortable and very clean. The beach is nearby and is wonderful, there is a beach bar with very friendly staff. If we visit Zaharo again, we will choose Mina apartments again. Thank you Mina ❤️!

    Kakovatos is a charming small village that sits right on a great sandy beach with crystal clear waters. It is tucked away from touristy areas and offers family-oriented vacation experience. Local taverns are the best and offer traditional Greek dishes and fresh fish daily. Neda falls are a one-hour drive and are worth the hike, and ancient Olympia is only 20-30 minutes away by car.
