The host Maria Christina is kind, hospitable and ready to help with recommendations for sights, beaches and food. She went out of your way to offer gluten-free bread and almond milk at breakfast as I am gluten and lactose intolerant. The orchard is so peaceful and beautiful. The beds and pillows are comfortable and I have slept like a baby! Kampos is the ideal place to stay in Chios (if you have a car). Close to the airport and in the middle of the island so excursions are made easy. I could not hope for more!

We had very little information about the unique Kampos area before we arrived. Everything we experienced exceeded our expectations! From the architecture, wells, lovely citrus gardens, visit to Pervoli...We will come back definitely!! Owners are very helpful amazing people and the citrus jams we tried served for breakfast are the best we ever tried!

Beautiful old stone houses dating back to the Genoese, situated in and around a citrus garden and lush green. You have both privacy and comfort, waking up with bird songs. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. Ideal for a romantic, quiet getaway. Just 10 minutes to Chios center, airport and ideal to start the journey to the south of the island. The narrow streets of Kampos are lovely. Travelling by car, ask in advance where to park.

Kampos is a nice area full of older mansions, many restored...

Kampos is a nice area full of older mansions, many restored for use as bed and breakfast. The mansions typically have high walls, and extensive gardens inside the courtyards, full of trees and flowers. It is generally a quiet area, very quaint, and close to major roads leading south, north, and west, not far from the capital city and the airport. We ate at a variety of establishments, both in the nearby village and on the coast. All had fresh seafood and local dishes and the prices were very reasonable. We didn't find a place anywhere that could be considered a "tourist trap."

Very special place with an interesting history.

Very special place with an interesting history. Walled mansions with their orchards. Maze-like streets between them. It takes you to another era. I guess in the spring when the citrus trees bloom it will be magical.

The rooms are situated in a stunning villa in the Chios Kampos, the old town. The rooms face the gardens which have many fruit trees and cats. It's a peaceful spot. Poli who runs the apartments was very friendly. She advised shops where you can order coffee etc to the room and suggested different activities such as tours. The room was clean with WiFi, TV and air conditioning. I was also able to laundry for no extra cost which was appreciated.. It's quite near many old villages and beaches

Sourediko is an old mansion. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Our beds were very confortable. Owner is a very kind lady always there for us in every little demand we might had. It was our pleasure to meet her. The location of the hotel is one of the most iconic in the whole island. Kampos Chiou is a village full of old, beautiful mansions.

Great little hotel in Chios, near the sea ( 3-4 minute walk ). The rooms were big, clean , I also enjoyed swimming at their swimming pool ( although it was very deep, for me it was ok ) . Also there is a supermarket at 5 minutes away from the property. The staff was also pleasant to talk with and very helpful.
