Everything! It is stunningly located overlooking the Mediterranean Sea as far as the eye can see. Facilities are gorgeous and so beautifully designed. Our room was huge and with private pool, terrace, even a record player! And the staff are so kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

Absolutely superb. Sorry we only stayed for 3 nights. The quality of finish poolside and in the rooms is top class. The staff were so welcoming and attentive and could not be more helpful.

Excellent location by the bay. Nice and clean apartment and breakfast for a good price, very close to the sea, kind personnel, good food and beautiful sea. On the top of a steer cliff there's nice little town of Chora (you can get there by bus). Absolutely adorable!

    We enjoyed staying at the port.

    We enjoyed staying at the port. It is quieter than the Hora (particularly in the evening) but there is a great choice of beautiful, low key family tavernas which gave us some of the best dining experiences of our trip and a great swimming beach. You can also easily walk to Pountia beach and some of the swimming bays between the port and Pountia. The bus service to the Hora runs hourly so you can easily access the restaurants and attractions of the Hora. We loved staying at ANEMI and would stay at Karavostasis for that alone.

    The island is beautiful, rugged scenery, dramatic cliffs, gorgeous beaches. The port is quiet with a few casual restaurants. The town of Chora is small and very quaint and it is 4 mins by bus from the port. The church on the hill is worth visiting to see the sunset. Highly recommend the island of Folegandros, away from the hustle and bustle of some of the more popular Greek islands.

    Yes it is the beach at this very small port, but is simply lovely, trees for shade, a pebble beach but after a half meter in the water, the rest is sand. Lovely small cove with 3 on beach restaurants. Beach is suitable for your children, off the beach some really good restaurants and accommodation. Great place to be including as a base to explore the rest of this lovely island and be within minutes to the ferrry for onwards journey.

    An absolutely awesome place for relaxing and winding down. The locals are so friendly and welcoming. We had a fabulous host at our accommodation and I’m so pleased we chose the AMOSuites. We had everything on our doorstep and yet it was a peaceful break. Amazing

    The most beautiful place on the island if you prefer to stay...

    The most beautiful place on the island if you prefer to stay in a calmer place with a few but super tasty and traditional restaurants giving you the real feeling of Greek. You can reach any part of the island easily by scooter, quad or with the local bus. A small, but very open-minded and friendly community that lives and welcomes you on the island.

    Although we spent only three days on Folegandros (the vacation is not endless and the ferry timetables did not favor us either), we left with the decision to return here. The atmosphere of Chora is breathtaking in the evening, the approach to the landmark - the church of Agia Panagia is much easier than it seems at first glance, the walk around the beaches from Agkali to Agios Nikolaus Beach with swimming was also full of experiences, including culinary ones.

    Aegean Star Hotel is located in Karavostasis, nera by the small port. The area has a nice beach with two small bara beach front and a couple of restaurants & mini Markets. Therefore if in the evening you don’t won’t to go to the Chora ( anyway only 5 mins away by car) you can stay in Karavostasi and enjoy the peacefull area by night. The owner and his family are always at the hotel and are very nice and welcoming! Also the room is big , sea view, new aircon system and very clean! Every other day change of sheets and towels.

    An elegant boutique hotel with an incredible staff! Whether it was the room, the restaurant or the services offered: everything was up to scratch. Located near the port, it offers peace and quiet & a pleasant view of the sea. We recommend to rent a quad for exploring the island (easily booked with the help of the reception). Many thanks to all those who contributed to the quality of our stay: the reception, restaurant & the room staff.

    Very comfortable hotel literally on the port of Folegandros. Very convenient if you use the boat (or take a boat for island tour). Comfy rooms, with great sea views (depending on the rooms you chose). Good breakfast on the sea side. Very nice beach closeby. Buses every hour to the main town (10 mins away) where all the main restaurant & night life is.

    A MUST! We will definitely pick AMO as our hotel next time we visit the island !The host, giannis was super helpful, and helped us a lot with our transportation from the port to the hotel . The room was thoroughly cleaned daily , it was very comfortable and the jacuzzi was a big + ! If you can afford it, then you should definitely reserve a room !
