We (five adults) stayed for 15 days. The house was spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable extended stay—plenty of everything. All appliances were new. We were provided with extra towels and bedsheets whenever we needed them. The terrace in front is the best spot for summer, and we spent most of our time there when not at the beach. The host was fantastic: upon arrival, we received a welcome package with wine, chilled water, bread, marmalade, and coffee. The small sandy beach is just a three-minute walk away. One shop is right next door, and another is only four minutes away.

We would definitely recommend staying here for anyone who wants to experience true Cretan hospitality and culture. The village is small but has everything you need. We spent our time here playing at the beach and enjoying delicious food at one of the tavernas. Everyone in the village is friendly and greets you with a smile. It was amazing to return to our room at the end of the day and see the moon shining bright above the sea. You can also see a sky full of stars at night - something you won’t see in a big city. Each morning the sun shines right into the room and you can hear the church bells from down the hill. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind. :-) They were very sweet with our son (a wild 1-year-old) and brought us cookies, coffee, water, juice, toys, and gave us some fruit for our drive. They also provided a crib (pack n play with a door on the side that unzips) and our son had fun playing in it. On our last night, one of our friends was having some car trouble and Yorgos came to help us. We stayed here for 5 nights and had everything we needed. Thank you Fotini & Yorgos!!

Excellent choice for budget hotel! Friendly, helpful professional staff. Basic clean room with sea view (36), a/c, mini-fridge, TV and hairdryer. Good, simple breakfast. Perfect location opposite (literally) beautiful beach with free umbrella/sunbeds for hotel guests! Beach bar/Cafe reasonably priced.

This was easily one of the most hospitable stays we have ever had. The owners were so kind and treated us like family. Nik made us breakfast in the morning, we weren't given a menu, the food just showed up and it was delicious!! Everyone in this area was so nice and wonderful to my 16-month-old son. The room we stayed in was clean and functional. The beach was awesome, we were the only people there. Some rocks but 99% sand. When we were heading out he gave me his card and told me to make sure I emailed him if we had any problems or questions about the island. I cannot express how great the customer service was.
