Hotel was a short drive out of the town of Kokkari up a steep hill. There was a path to walk down to the restaurants in the evening, but we took a taxi back up! 5 Euros for people :) Lovely small town with pebbly beaches lined with many restaurants. Everything was very reasonably priced compared to other islands we have visited. Hotel Arion is just lovely - we wish we had stayed there as our second hotel as our next one was not quite as good. Excellent breakfast buffet - spoilt for choice. Lovely pool area in the garden which was well kept. We had adjoining rooms - 402 and 403. Along with 401 we think the best at the hotel, but the two above were probably great too.

Amazing staff very welcoming and with great tips. When we arrived Mary and Xenofon were there to welcome us and ensure they made us feel comfortable. The property is located within a walking distance to bars and restaurants. There is also a mini market very close to buy everything needed. The rooms are a great size very nicely decorated. Definitely would chose Hokkum studios to stay again. Thank you for everything

The hotel is lovely and located on a hill with a great panorama. Every single person of the staff is extremely kind and helpful. I felt welcomed and I was given plenty of information about facilities and the island in general. I appreciated the care, the smiles and the positive behaviour of the 2 receptionists and in general of every single person of the staff. I would recommend this hotel 100%. You made my holidays even more enjoyable, thank you.

    Kokkari is a very pretty old town .

    Kokkari is a very pretty old town . There are plenty of places to eat , tavernas, cafés , bars and to relax in. It is not a party / night club resort. It is peaceful with no drunken behaviour. We do not go in August so I do not know if young people go then. It tends to be older people when we go. Although I think the beach is beautiful I do not think it or the sea is suitable for young children. The stony beach is quite hard to walk on so is not suitable for people who have walking difficulties. There are also enough small supermarkets to get provisions and bread / cake shops.

    The local people are friendly and polite.

    The local people are friendly and polite. The place is lively in the evening with plenty of bars and restaurants. Everything closes at midnight. Short walks will take you to new beaches if you want to venture further

    We enjoyed Kokkari and were able to explore the surrounds...

    We enjoyed Kokkari and were able to explore the surrounds and relax on one of the many beaches. 3-4 nights are more than enough for the North. There is great hiking as the island is very green. We found Samos to be one of the nicest islands we have visited so far and would highly recommend a visit.

    Nice cosy small town.

    Nice cosy small town. Many cafes/restaurants to choose by the sea. Good seafood and appetizers. OK beaches to swim (no sand, small pebbles), gets windy and wavy in the afternoon. Recommend staying at budget rooms and renting motocycles to go around to beaches and towns nearby.

    Kokkari offers many very nice and varied restaurants and casual places to eat. We selected the more authentic restaurants. Poseidon is excellent. There are many little streets to walk through and enjoy.

    Kokkari is a lovely small town on the north coast of Samos.

    Kokkari is a lovely small town on the north coast of Samos. A delight to walk around, good car parking and taxis available too. Many small shops selling everything from holiday tat to nice clothes and mementos. Large selection of restaurants to chose from. Along the main beach, many had outside seating areas as well as inside but could get windy. Port beach and promenade had many more shops and restaurants, again with outside seating. Spoilt for choice and prices very good. Average cost for 4 with drinks, starters and mains was 85 Euros.

    Lovely location, only couple minutes walk away from beautiful beach Lemonakia. Our host Maria was very welcoming, she upgraded our room when she learned it is our honeymoon. Rooms are getting cleaned everyday. Very calm and peaceful Environment around the hotel, and an amazing view from the garden. Pretty close to the Kokkari (4min. By car) we felt like we are at our own summerhouse. We will definetaly return here to stay on our next Samos visit.

    Host Katerina is a very warm, caring and incredibly helpful person. The location of the house is very nice. It is located right at the edge of the sea. Many restaurants and cafes are listed below. The house is immaculate and the facilities are very good. We were also very pleased with the treats. It is one of the best places to stay in Kokkari, Samos.

    The location of the hotel was great only few steps to the Kokkari beach, approx 1 km to Lemonaki beach and 1,5 km to Tsamadou Beach. Breakfast was more than enough. Room was clean and relax. Also helpfull and friendly stuff. Hope we can stay there one more time at the season.

    The hotel is right next to Tsamadou Beach, the most beautiful beach in Samos, and offers a peaceful holiday surrounded by nature. All the staff are very kind and supportive. I definitely recommend Semeli Hotel.
