We stayed at Eleni and Vasilis' guest house for a whole week anf we were charmed: First of all because of Eleni and Vasilis kindness, generosity and care. They made us feel like we've met two long time friends. When our child was sick in hospital, Eleni woke up in the middle of the night to welcome us and see how are we doing. These two are really something special. Second, the place is enchanting. Just a 20 meters from the sea, we felt like we had a private beach. The place is well nurtured by Eleni and Vasilis' caring hands. Although we didn't do much in Kala Nera, this place is one of our best memories from the trip to Greece.

The location is excellent—just a 30-minute drive from most areas of Pelion. The host's hospitality is outstanding: warm, friendly, and welcoming, making you feel right at home during your stay. The whole experience was fantastic. Costas, the owner, was very kind and helpful. He made us feel at home. He cooked, answered, advised, and was always there to welcome us when we came back from our daily travels. He seems to really enjoy having guests and assiting them. The cleanliness was top-notch. Every day the room was cleaned and was spotless. The breakfast was very good, we had a great bouffe. 90% of the veggies and fruits are grown by Costas, the cake is made by his wife, and they also make very good jams (I specifically recommend the kiwi). The bouffe was mostly the same every time, but the hot course changed every morning. The hot course is cooked when you come to breakfast, and all of them were delicious. One time Costas cooked an omelet with ham, another time he cooked scrambled eggs with bacon, etc. The room was spacious and welcoming. We had a big balcony with a pretty view of the yard and of the beautiful mountains of Pelion. The double bed was comfortable and big. There was private parking by the hotel, yet it is not marked. Costas will tell you where he wants you to park and it is in a very convenient location. The location was fantastic for us, yet it depends on your aims of traveling Pelion. We could drive to the beaches of Kala Nera, Koropi, and Kato Gatzea in around 3 minutes. Getting to Kala Nera beach would take some time by foot we didn't think there is a reason not driving there, as it took 2 minutes and finding parking was easy. Also there are better beaches in other villages, in less then 5 minute driving distance. Also this location is convenient for traveling to east, south, and north Pelion. In general, the hotel is pretty, has a beautiful yard with crops, and has a pastoral view. It felt authentic, the attitude was super welcoming, and the whole property was pretty and green. I really recommend this hotel if you don't care about driving few minutes for good close beaches.

Hotel is on great location ,but even better than that is staff working there. Katarina and ladies were superb even in crises such as happened during our vacation ( storm has hit really bad Pilion region including Afissos ). All of them went beyond their duties and possibilities to make us safe and feeling as much as possible comfort (we are still talking about pancakes 🤣) Hotel is clean ,lovely location, facilities are absolutely fit for purpose of holiday. All of you ladies working there are absolutely great! Will come again.

WE LOVED THIS COZY VERDUROUS FAMILY GUESTHOUSE CLOSE TO THE BEACH. for us everything was percect. a minute walking from the beach and the cafes. we were 2 friends and stayed in the room at the ground floor with a terrace looking to the nice lush garden. room was very comfortable and sufficient (1 double bed + 1 single), equipped with a small fridge, coffee machine a kettle and an electronic pot for greek coffee. the terrace was lovely and we had an adequate level of of privacy there. bathroom was clean and convenient, great shower with plenty of hot water. the hosting family were really nice and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. our beds were made everyday while we were out and we got fresh towels and tiolet paper. the son speaks good vey english and was very responsive to our inquiries for information and recommendations regarding the area. overall, a great humble and homey place to chill out in the middle of Kala Nera, with everything else you might need just a minute or two walk away. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, ΣΑΣ ΕΥΧΑΡΙΣΤΩ ΠΟΛΥ 🙏

I love staying here so much I doubled the nights I originally booked and still wish I had stayed longer. The rooms are fantastic and comfortable, new mattresses, exceptional high end bathrooms with high pressure hot showers. Nick the owner will help you with anything and everything you need, he is so kind and accommodating! Great location, sea view from my balcony, super close to the beach, hiking trails, great restaurants and a great bakery.
