During our stay in Greece, we had the pleasure of staying at one of the friendliest hotels we've ever visited. Despite the rainy weather during our weekend in June, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel happy and comfortable. When we asked to borrow an umbrella for a short walk, the hotel didn't have one available, but the lovely people at the reception kindly lent us their own umbrella. The breakfast was delicious, and the energetic restaurant staff provided us with plenty of tips for exploring nearby villages. Thanks to their hospitality, we felt like we were at home away from home.

Very welcoming hotel, staff couldn't have been more helpful and made it feel like a home from home after a long journey. Pool area was beautiful and quiet, we were delivered food to the sunbeds for a late lunch, which was delicious. They also organised a pre packed breakfast for us as we were leaving at 7am for our ferry - before breakfast was open. Definitely recommend!

The hotel was clean and cozy. The restaurant and bar downstairs were great and were opened all day. As we like to sleep long we had a chance to buy breakfast even after the hotel's breakfast time. Super! And it is near the airport, Uber took us at 4 in the morning to the airport and cost 20euros

If you have a day or two and you don’t want to stay in the main city of Athens then this is a place you can relax. I think it’s a family owned business and they treat you like personal guests and are very accommodating. Don’t be shy saying hello to them because they sure enjoying taking care of their guests. The pool is big and deep and the atmosphere of the hotel is like going to grandma’s house with old but homie feelings. Breakfast was good, restaurants and the beach are a 5 minute walk and the locals are nice too.

Very quiet place to rest after your cruise!

Very quiet place to rest after your cruise! Even the taxi drivers were having difficulty finding the hotel. Unfortunately we won't be visiting again ! Absolutely would not recommend it if you want a fun packed holiday with great quality food and drink !

Lovely hotel and very clean. Breakfast very good. The pool area and gardens were lovely. The only downside was there were a few people / families around the pool that were not guests taking up sun beds. Overall excellent hotel with a few restaurants within easy walk.

Very small town but good selection of bars, restaurants and hotels. Always the sound of the sea gently lapping the shore. A short walk out of town takes you to a smart restaurant called Samia and a lovely rustic Greek taverna serving fresh fish and both right by the sea.

We were welcomed with a smile and warm greetings. Informed us of the times food would be served, for evening and breakfast, asked if we needed anything, if so please ask. Helpful with directions to local restaurants. The hotel was super clean and fresh, our room had good view of the sea, clean, bed was comfortable.

Quiet local area with a couple of places to eat out.

Quiet local area with a couple of places to eat out. Good food and a small local shop. The hotel is around 40 minutes to Athens town, taxi's are between 35 to 40€. 48€ if you book through the hotel. Local bus is hourly but to get to Athens you'd need to change and then get a train. We only went into Athens for one day via taxi and crammed everything in. If you book a return taxi it's cheaper. Athens Site-seeing, markets and local shops are fabulous. We walked around Mati but it's in the suburbs so no site-seeing. but our holiday was to relax and Mati hotel was perfect for that. We'd go again.

We liked the pool and beach view from our room.

We liked the pool and beach view from our room. We liked the outdoor dining option overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea and good waiter service. We really liked our early morning swim in the lovely warm sea, on our last day in Greece before the long flight back to Australia. That was a highlight. I would recommend Mati as a relaxing option outside of the hectic city centre of Athens. I wished we’d stayed there longer.

I recently stayed at Myrto Hotel with my wife and two children, and we had a comfortable and pleasant experience. The location is very convenient, especially for travelers, as it is close to the airport. We stayed in a family room the night before an early morning flight, and it was a great choice. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, which made our short stay even more enjoyable. I would recommend Myrto Hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and friendly place to stay near the airport.

One night stay at the start of our road trip through Greece. Wonderful reception by Evi, nice clean room, comfortable beds, wifi works well, and good selection of food for breakfast. We had a nice rest after a long day travelling. Location at less than 30 meters from the airport is perfect. I would return at NLH Mati Seafront, and even stay a bit longer.

Our stay at Hotel Mati on the 5th floor was made even more special by the stunning views. We enjoyed a beautiful panorama of the sea and the hotel's sparkling pool, which was a perfect backdrop for our mornings and evenings.
